My team & I had a wonderful lunch & wanted to share my compliments. As a vegetarian, I particularly appreciated the perfectly prepared cauliflower steak. The restroom was exceptionally clean & well-amenitied with some Ruby Brown products. Impeccable overall experience!
Their food was great but their service was even better. My wife had lunch set & I had the escargot & half dozen oysters. All the selections was great abs fresh. But their service service was really good & very attentive. You would have a feeling that you're eating at a fine dining restaurant with a service of a family restaurant. Everything was taken care off & you didn't even need to ask

We loved everything we had. Grilled shrimp, shrimp cocktail, organic salmon, rib steak, French fries, Mille feuille & Sunday.
Our waiter Danny gave us exceptional service. Very attentive & great advice.

Now situated downtown, I heard fantastic things about Moishes but never had the opportunity to pass by. I went for lunch today & was blown away by the professionalism & efficiency of the staff, as well as the excellent food.
I heard they have some of the best cuts in Montreal & I can confirm: I've eaten wagyu in multiple cities across the world, including Kobe beef from Japan, & I can confirm that Moishes not only has excellent beef, but they're also cooked to perfection.
A must go to restaurant in Montreal & I'll be sure to return to try the other cuts of beef.
Awesome experience, super tasty food. Lunch menu was portioned well & affordable. My waiter Max gave us 10/10 service. Albeit the only thing I would question is the shrimp cocktail. Featuring only a singular jumbo shrimp is a bit lack luster compared to the other steakhouses I've been to (I think two would be a perfect portion). Overall, the steak, Monte Carlo potato, desserts & service made up for it. Will definitely come back again! Ps. The Mille-feuille was one of the best I've tried in the city.
Visited the new location of Moishes, & it was an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish! From the moment my friend & I arrived to the moment we were seated, everything was seamless.
The Service: Spectacular. Our server provided top-notch attention to detail & made us feel incredibly well taken care of throughout the entire meal.
The Food & Ambience: Delicious food, & I absolutely loved the gorgeous new decor. Every little detail has been thought through.
It is no wonder Moishes is a true Montreal staple! I will absolutely be back anytime for lunch or dinner. Thank you for a wonderful night!

Stumbled into Moishe's on a quiet Sunday morning before the lunch rush, & the dining room already had that lived-in warmth you only find in places that have been doing things right for decades. The dry-aged ribeye I ordered was textbook - properly rested, beautifully charred on the outside, & pink all the way through without being asked twice. The waiter, an older gentleman who clearly knew the menu cold, steered me toward the house-made pickles as a starter & I was glad he did. If you travel enough to know the difference between a steakhouse that's famous & one that actually earns it, Moishe's is firmly in the second category.
Went there for Mother's Day. Had a great time! Food, service & ambiance is top notch! Couldn't ask for anything more. You will not be disappointed. Btw, lunch special can't be beat!!!
