It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was simply exceptional. Each dish was crafted with great attention to detail, blending flavors & textures in perfect harmony. I highly recommended the seafood tower! The service matched the quality of the food. Overall, Moishes exceeded my expectations with its excellent food & impeccable service. It's a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

High class place, zero worry about the food , you will love it 100% for sure, hug end decoration, amazing valet people , go & experience the food the security & quality, the service is amazing , exist since long time but this is a new location, no matter how good things I say about that place is just not enough I travel a lot & never seen quality service & food like that place ,

We went to dinner at Moishes early on a Saturday night & had an amazing dinner. The staff made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. They took their time with us, & we never felt rushed. The manager David was very friendly & made sure we had everything we needed. Our waiter (I forget his name) was very nice, & made sure everything was perfect. The food was perfect, & very high quality. Thank you Moishes for an amazing dinner!
I have been going to Moishes since 1994. For almost 30 yrs I've enjoyed the best steak you can get anwyere period fullstop. The meet was flavourful, soft, marbled, just delicious. It was made with what I always assumed was butter. The steaks were phenomenal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also something else. I loved the classic look of a restaurant that had survived since 1938. The red velvet & mahogany wall, the tables of patrons who all seemed to know each other. Mostly because they had been eating at this very special place for generations. Fast forward 6 or 7 yrs since my last visit. What a difference. As the Beetles once said: "There are places I remember....some have changed for ever, but not for better." Well the Moishes of today has nothing to do with the Moishe we all loved. Atmosphere: There was nothing warm or enticing. No sense of belonging to a community. Now it's just another big modern restaurant I see in Toronto all the time. Just another fancy "Keg" of sorts. The Service & Staff: Top notch. The servers & staff were absolutely fantastic. Professional, polite & engaging. The restaurant is lucky to have such amazing staff. Food: This is the saddest part. The meat quality is not the same. I opted for the Kansas Strip Loin. It was tough & sinewy. The potato was excellent & the pickle & coleslaw were great too. But the steak itself was nothing to write home about! THIS IS NOT THE MOISHES I SO EXCITEDLY DROVE TO MONTREAL TO VISIT. I'm sorry new owners. I'm sure you'll milk the brand name for all its worth. You have made the clientele younger so less picky about food quality I guess. It makes me sad that after 30 years of patronage, I will not be going there again. The only saving grace was incredibly kind & helpful server. I wish I could remember her name to thank her personally. But if you are a young blonde woman who was serving two middle aged men sitting at a table between the window & the bar, then you deserve recognition. EXCELLENT SERVICE! The presentation looked good, but the steak was dry, sinewy & tough.

First time in the new location. We liked that there were some visual reminders for old location. Our server was excellent. Very attentive. Food was all high quality & tasted wonderful. Steaks were marvellous (though may be big enough to share). Also loved that there was bubble gum (still). We especially appreciated the visit from "David", chatting about the old Moishe's, Toronto & other things. Thank for the free slice of cheese cake (& sorry we could not finish it at the restaurant). We will be back on our next trip to Montreal.

I frequently travel to the city from Boston MA & absolutely love Moishes! Everything from food to service & environment is top quality!

Didn't really have a problem with the price point itself - but the value equation is seriously off. Portions are small, quality is far from exceptional. As an avid consumer of the American style steakhouse & having lived in the states for many years - there is a lot missing. Strongly suggest a quick trip to New York & a visit to Wolfgang's, & liberty prime in Jersey city, as well as prime steak in Miami for examples of expensive steakhouses where pricepoint relative to value leaves the consumer feeling like they got a good deal. Lot of work to do.

Not a good NY strip steak & the dry aged version not available. The one I got was simply sinewy & tough. Not premium steakhouse quality. Veal chop & sides were excellent as was wedge salad.

Food was delicious & service was exceptional! You can tell they really care about the quality of their food & service.

Service friendly & courteous but not polished as in other mid-top tier establishments in Montreal. It was good not great. I didn't feel special.
Bread plate had sliced bread from a bag & cold. Cheepens the experience. Steak although good quality meat, wasn't cooked as ordered.
Overall average. Small adjustments will make it great a great Montreal dining experience worth the price.

A+++....After a long slumber, Moishes has reemerged & is once again the best steakhouse in Montreal. While some of the charm of The Main may be gone, the sleek & luxurious new room is like something out of Manhattan or London. The dry-aged rib steak was "melt in your mouth" good. The been tartare with quail eggs was a welcome surprise. The prices are also "not bad" (& certainly cheaper than Jacobs) for the quality of the beef on your plate. To their credit, there any many reasonably priced plats principals for those who are not carnivores. This is a very welcome addition to the Montreal restaurant scene & I salute the entrepreneurs who are bold enough to make this happen!
