Jai bien apprécié le menu dégustation mets accord vin, toutefois les portions ne sont pas généreuse- plusieurs visites & toujours le même hic! Service impeccable, sommelier excellent, le décor laisse a désirer pour une telle facture!
A special dining treat that provided one of the more memorable & excellent meals we've enjoyed in a long time. You can really tell that the chef & his sous chef are exceptionally talented. The restaurant does a tasting menu only, which is such a smart concept. Make an outstanding meal, where all the plates lead smartly from one to the next - many places can't pull this off, but l'Epicurieux absolutely does.
We enjoyed all of the plates, with one or two that really stood out for us. Beyond the wonderful food, everyone here was so pleasant & natural that it felt like you were sitting in a friend's kitchen.
They are moving to a new location later this year, & will be closed for a bit until the new restaurant opens. I can't wait to visit their new location!
Lepicurieux est une véritable institution à Val David. Une atmosphère décontractée & sophistiquée en même temps. Superbe cuisine & aussi un service impeccable. & que dire de la propriétaire Fannie, elle est fantastique.
Excellent experience culinaire, accords mets & vins parfaitement réalisés avec de belles découvertes, équipe soigné & amoureux de leur travail. Font bien attention aux allergies mentionnées à la réservation (coeliaque)
C'est une expérience en soi, ceci étant dit, très dispendieuse. J'ai déboursé 195$ pour le menu dégustation & l'accord mets & vins. Les assiettes mettent en valeurs les fruits & légumes de saisons & nous font découvrir de nouveaux agencement de saveurs. Je ne recommande pas pour les enfants.
Un restaurant gastronomique qui sait mettre en valeur les produits frais de saison. Savoir réinventer le chou-fleur avec Brillo. Jamais je n'aurais cru manger du flétan & frôler l'extase via mes papilles gustatives. L'accord mets & vins est parfait. On a découvert de merveilleux cépages. Mais effectivement, changer les verres à vin serait à améliorer. J'adore ces petits endroits comparables à de petits bijoux. Ils se font rares alors encouragez les, ils le mérite amplement.

La cuisine était excellente, les portions parfaites, les accords mets & vins adéquats, un vrai délice à chaque bouchée. Un petit point à revoir serait de changer de verre à chaque service. Le personnel était très sympathique & connaissant. Soirée d'été particulièrement chaude, mais expérience à renouveler! On recommande. Merci!
Delicious, local food flavours & great service . This is a set menu of 5 dishes including dessert with an option to add another 2 & a wine pairing for additional cost . Three of us shared a bottle of wine & one of us chose the wine pairing experience. Really up to you what you decide.
Give yourself plenty of time 2-2.5hrs to fully enjoy the experience as it takes time for each dish to come out. I noticed some ppl commenting on the amount of food & price. We had a party of four ppl & we ALL felt satisfied & happy with what we paid for a 5 course Michelin ⭐? meal. EXPERIENCE + FOOD = 💯 & well worth the $$$.
The raspberry cocktail which is what we started with was delish … & the local beers my hubby tried were all good as well. ( my fave was the Ayawan which is brewed really close to the resto & if at all inclined can do a day trip to the brewery itself … either via car or down the river ).
Superbe restaurant! Cuisine fine locale & de saison. Service est attentionné & disponible. La décoration est chaleureuse. Nous étions assis au bar, juste de l'autre côté le chef s'affaire avec calme & précision malgré le rush. & malgré tout il reste disponible, pour parler de ses plats & donner ses astuces. Nous avons passé une très belle soirée. Merci
L'Épicurieux was an absolutely beautiful find! It was a great combination of innovative cuisine in a relaxed setting. The menu highlighted the wonderful, season flavours & textures of local, simple ingredients.

Just sit down & enjoy. The menu is preset, so you don't have to choose. The food is out of this world. The only drawback is the toilets, they are too close from the dining room.
Les années passent & la qualité de la nourriture & des accords continuent de m'impressioner. Merci pour la belle soirée. Coup de coeur pour la rillette d'omble chevalier & l'agnolletti aux topinambours!! On se revoit bientôt!
