Across Quebec…
Among the other new Michelin-starred additions in Quebec this year are Auberge Saint-Mathieu in Saint-Mathieu-du-Parc and Le Clan in Quebec City. Several new addresses have also joined the Bib Gourmand selection, including Baumier in Piedmont, Bibine Buvette in Drummondville, Buvette Gentille in Baie-Saint-Paul, Coquette in Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, Le Clocher Penché in Quebec City, as well as Saindoux Restaurant BBQ in Sainte-Marie.
Also worth noting is the remarkable rise of chef Samy Benabed, named Quebec's Most Promising Young Chef in 2026 by the Michelin Guide. At the helm of Auberge Saint-Mathieu, he has racked up accolades this year, earning a Michelin star for his restaurant in addition to being awarded Chef of the Year at the Lauriers de la gastronomie québécoise. A recognition that confirms his meteoric rise and the growing influence of his cuisine, deeply rooted in the terroir.
Congratulations to all our local talents, it is with immense pride that we see the Michelin Guide shine a spotlight on the richness and creativity of our culinary scene. A well-deserved recognition for those who bring our dining tables to life every day.
