Vachement exceptionnel!
Mega service, atmosphère & excellente expérience gastronomique!
Une belle découverte & très belle adresse! Cette place garde Montreal sur le top des capitales gastronomique!
I had very high expectations, but unfortunately I left feeling quite disappointed.
With the exception of the female sommelier, almost all of the servers came across as indifferent & unwelcoming. At one point, the same dish was served to us twice, which reflected a lack of attention. They also forgot to bring our welcome drink order altogether. I've dined at many restaurants in this price range, & this was the first time I experienced service that felt this inattentive from start to finish.
When we asked about the chef's choice menu, the explanation was so brief & unenthusiastic that it was difficult to understand. It almost felt like,'Just order whatever you want.'
While I can accept that service isn't always perfect, the food & presentation were also disappointing. Almost every plate had noticeable chips around the rim, which is something I wouldn't expect at this level. Aside from the main course, every dish was served cold, & overall I didn't find the food particularly memorable.
The first cucumber dish tasted little more than pieces of cucumber, without much depth or balance. The tartare had a noticeable fishy smell. The sunflower seed risotto was so salty that it was difficult to eat. I finished it because I didn't want to waste the food, but my mouth actually felt numb from the saltiness. It would have been better if the dish had been properly tasted before being served to guests.
The lobster bisque served with the steak was also excessively salty, to the point that it overwhelmed the entire dish & made it difficult to appreciate the other flavors.
Overall, I left feeling that the experience did not justify the price or the expectations associated with the restaurant.
I was overly ambitious & ordered the chef's menu as a solo diner. All the food I had were great (except for the tomatoes but more because I don't really enjoy tomatoes).
Their wine list is mostly natural wine so order cocktails if you are not a big fan of natural wine!
Creative food & excellent service in a casual atmosphere. This was the best meal we've had in Montreal. We did the tasting menu & each course was outstanding.
Limbo is an exceptional night out!
Indulge in a delectable evening crafted by talented chefs & dedicated staff.
A heartfelt thank you to Christian, our server & guide, for making the evening truly special.
We appreciate the extra bread service; every drop of sauce was savored.
A secret haven for Martini enthusiasts seeking a dirty, filthy experience.🤫
Le vacherin aux camerises était un nuage, notre serveuse était une étoile

Amazing meal, great ambiance. Not a single'meh' item on the menu. Everything was excellent.
What an incredible experience. Each dish we ordered was better than the last. Service was friendly & knowledgeable. Will be going back 100%
