We had a very bad experience because we ordered a tasting menu to share-we just wanted to have a cocktail at the bar & grab a bite to eat-& the waiter brought us two menus. At first we didn't realize it because he brought two different dishes, but when they brought the second course, they brought us two identical pasta dishes, so I asked the waiter why they had brought two dishes when we had ordered a single menu to share, & he told us that it was one menu but that they were just serving the pasta on two plates, so we relaxed & trusted what he said, but in the end, when they brought the bill, it was a big surprise because they charged us for two menus. When we asked the waiter why we were charged for two meals, he told us that they had brought one meal per person, & I told him that wasn't what we had ordered-which is why I had asked him when they brought the pasta-& he told me it was a misunderstanding. So they called the manager, & instead of offering a solution, he just told us we had to pay because they had served the food. Honestly, I thought what they did was very dishonest. I don't think this kind of service is what you'd expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant.

I went to Annette for a Christmas party with a group, so I will say upfront that it might not reflect the typical experience since the restaurant was hosting several groups that evening.
We had a special group menu with plates to share. The food quality was genuinely good. Everything we tasted was well prepared & flavorful. That said, for the price per person, I was honestly expecting more generous portions. The shared plates were very small, sometimes just a few bites each, which felt a bit disappointing considering that drinks & wine were not included in the set price.
On the positive side, the atmosphere was lively & pleasant, & the service was very friendly despite how busy it was. They also have an impressive wine selection with what feels like hundreds of options, which is definitely a strong point.
Overall, a good experience, but I would be curious to try it on a regular night to get a better sense of it.
Excellente soirée, belle découverte de vin & menu dégustation savoureux. Un service attentionné & les places au bar devant la cuisine très agréable & impressionnant de voir l'équipe en cuisine. Tout est fait avec attention & précision.

Moment parfait! Nous avons choisi le menu dégustation. Tout était sublime du début à la fin. Le sommelier nous a bâti un accord vin vraiment intéressant. Le service a été impeccable tout au long de la soirée. Belle ambiance, excellente bouffe & excellents vin. À refaire!
Friendly service. The wine recommendations were good. Nice loungey atmosphere. Everything was well presented.
My biggest disappointment was the seafood salad where the only seafood was mussels.
The beef tartare was delicious. Avonlea is a cheese apparently, wish that was clarified on the menu.
The moelleux/sticky pudding dessert was delicious. A little bit like a Christmas cake because of the cranberries but otherwise perfect, especially with the pecans.
L'ambiance était superbe, les places au bar très agréables & le service du barman irréprochable. La cuisine était également délicieuse. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.
Really Amazing restaurant, good service, great decor & atmosphere! The food was overall very good but wasn't absolutely spectacular. The brioche bread was a bit cold which was quite disappointing. The fried mushrooms were recommended, it was quite good but also not mind blowing. The 2 main dishes were better. Overall good dinning experience!!

En exhibit, une tomate, pardon une demie tomate, à $17 ! Fantastique ! Faut dire que celle-ci était ancestrale & en plus, en saison, ça doit faire augmenter le prix, mais surtout la marge de profit.
& que dire de la taramosalata à $17, une mince couche d'oeufs de poisson & pommes de terre accompagnée de presque 2 radis (c'est en fait un & demi, dudit, radis. Un peu radin sur les radis). On peut recréer ce plat pour quoi $3-$4 avec la taramosalata de chez Adonis & un paquet de 8 radis à $1.99 chez Métro. Yep, 8 !
Ne restons pas sur notre appétit, car vous allez restés sur votre faim, avec la goutte de trop : la guédille.
En effet, un superbe pain brioché avec des crevettes de Matane (pardon, elles sont nordiques). Jusque là tout va bien. Mais il y a beaucoup de personnel en cuisine, par le temps que ladite guédille se rende à votre table, il ne reste que 2 x 1/3 du pain à hot-dog. Mais yé brioché ! Tu t'attendais à quoi pour $16? Un pain complet. T'es cute. On rit beaucoup de toi en cuisine, on a mangé les autres 2/3 en chemin. Magie, je te dis.
On reste quand même fair avec notre critique : les chanterelles &/ou les short ribs étaient vraiment fantastiques, le mélange des saveurs, complémentaires, recherchées, vraiment bon, on en aurait repris. & comme vous pourrez voir sur les photos, pour $26 & $30, on en aurait repris dans une portion normale. Ici, on a le privilège d'en avoir moins, pour le prix d'une portion normale. De la magie, Micheline.
Service minimal d'un personnel bien formé à l'upsell car ils ont mangé à leur faim. Nous, on est allés se chercher un Big Mac parce qu'on avait encore faim après une facture mémorable de $350 pour deux personnes, taxes, vin (1) & service. On a mangé mieux, à notre faim, pour $175 à qualité égale en Europe. Taxes & service inclus.
C'est qui le cave?
De loin, notre moins bonne valeur de 2025, rapport qualité/prix déficient.

Came here for dinner...the flavors of the food were excellent, service was ok, portions were disappointing. We came as a group of 5. The food was incredibly flavorful, but the portions were teeny teeny tiny....like smaller than a child's size. We shouldn't have come so hungry. Ironically we didn't drink & only came for the food. Perhaps our expectations of a restaurant were distorted. This would be a fun place to come for a snack & drinks with friends. The atmosphere is friendly.
