Really Amazing restaurant, good service, great decor & atmosphere! The food was overall very good but wasn't absolutely spectacular. The brioche bread was a bit cold which was quite disappointing. The fried mushrooms were recommended, it was quite good but also not mind blowing. The 2 main dishes were better. Overall good dinning experience!!
Annette Bar delivers an excellent dining experience with truly delicious, creative dishes made from fresh ingredients. The service is impeccable-attentive, professional, & friendly. While it can be a bit noisy & food sometimes takes a little while to arrive, it was worth the wait. Conveniently located with plenty of nearby parking, Annette Bar is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food & genuine hospitality.

Bar vibe with DJ music, service is ok in general, decor is modern & clean but tight spaces between tables so not much personal space & waiter & waitress need to walk behind you between tables at times & they constantly touched or moved the customer coats that hangs behind the seat. Could get annoying at times.
Food wise was very good! We particularly liked the fried maitake mushroom, the Taramosalata, the Beef & the Trout! The Tuna & the tomatoes is doesn't stand out as good as the other dishes , it's still ok but is overshadowed by the other dishes. Seems we like dishes from group 1 & group 3 more than in group 2. We ordered a la carte instead of the discovery as we normally doesn't eat dessert much so it's a better deal for us & we order more food in group 1.
Would I recommend this place? Yes.
Would I rush to come back? No.
The food here was very good! Tasty & well executed though we thought some fine details could elevate the dishes further. But overall, the service & vibe was nice. If someone asked me if they should try it, I'd say: yes, absolutely. That said, we didn't feel like there was anything overly innovative or memorable that would make us really excited about coming back.
Great selection of wine/cocktails. Serving French dishes with modern twist. Serving size is relatively small, perfect to share for two people. Good service. Nice atmosphere.

Food was so-so, though I did enjoy the fried mushrooms. Porc short ribs were good as well, but we tried several other dishes. They just lacked the pizzaz.
Service was really great. Staff was super helpful & proposing wines, pairings & all. The spot is nice & makes for a cozy & fun experience. Food was honestly a hit & miss. The quality of the ingredients were second to none but the overall offering & the way the menu is structured lets a lot to be desired... Since ( I think ) the menu is build around seasonnal & local ingredients (which is great), many ingredients are repeated in many dishes. So if you don't like some ingredients, you might have to skip 4 or 5 items on the menu. Might not be a problem for some but might be problematic for others. Also, the menu descriptions are so basic that you might not get exactly what you were looking for. For example, they have a fresh pea dip with feta. It was tasty & fresh & everything, but the dish was covered in fresh mint. So every bite tasted like mint. If you don't like mint, you just wasted 16$ on a dish you won't enjoy. Same goes for another dish, the tempura zucchini flowers that are stuffed with some cheese. It's covered in caviar or something similar. The caviar is definitely there to justify the price, yet not mentioned on the menu. Also, some dishes, who are tapas style & meant to be shared, aren't really sharable. Like those zucchini flowers. They come as 3. 3 shares well with 3 person & that's it! The menu should be more descriptive & includes more details. Just naming 3 ingredients might look really fancy & edgy, but it is not very fonctionnal for guests with dietary restrictions or people who don't like certain ingredients or who are closely watching what they eat. I'll go back as the wine selection is great & allows to taste wines who are not readily available elsewhere (SAQ) but I'll definitely need to triple check the menu & ask a ton of questions next time.

Excellent food & service. They were very attentive to my dairy intolerance. I usually have to sit out certain dishes while other people eat but not here! I had as much delicious food (if not more) than anyone at the table. Everyone loved our experience. We will definitely be going back!
