First time here for lunch. Had prefix menu. Although there was a quite a bit of delay due to a happening at the kitchen, service made up with extra menu item & a cute tiny birthday cake. Food was great with abundant flavors although the pasta was tad salty. Staffs were relatively attentive in spite that it was a busy afternoon. Overall I was very satisfied. Will try their dinner menu next time I visit Montreal.

If you have the pleasure of having Lawrence as your waiter, you are in for a spectacular dining experience.

We had the tasting menu & it was so delicious. The tuna dish was a 10/10, I've never experienced the sweet pea to be the star of the dish! Everything was perfectly balanced & fresh.

I like sweeter, lighter cocktails & Lawrence recommended me the Deuxieme Service, which was a delightfully sweet, fragrant & floral cocktail. It was so delicious I had to nurse it for the whole meal.

I'm most particularly impressed with how perfectly seasoned all the sauces were. All the dishes was amazingly balanced in acidity, sweetness, richness, & texture. We needed some extra salt for the veal, but that was easily resolver. Most of the dishes were consistently incredible, leaving us an overall experience of 9.5/10, with our server Lawrence playing a huge part in it.

Lawrence never made us feel rushed, despite being the last party to leave for the night. He offered a little break before moving onto dessert. He was attentive, charming, genuine, & had poise. He took his time to talk to us about the fine dining scene in Montreal after we had paid. He was honest with his opinions & wrote down his personal restaurant recommendations for us. It's clear he is passionate about fine dining & takes pride in his work/industry & truly loves serving people.

Amazing fine dining experience at Hoogan & Beaufort! Out waiters Philix & Leo made the whole dinner special as they were attentive but also discreet. The explanation of the dishes was carefully done & you can feel the enthusiasm in the staff. The food is just wow from start to finish. We enjoyed very much the amouse bouche from the house & we went for a la carte dishes as we felt we could choose more dishes of our likings. The choice was great, the veal sweetbreads were amazing, the duck was the elevation of the French cuisine to it's best. Desserts were so elevated & particular in flavor. Service was seamless & we had 3 starters, 2 mains & 2 desserts (plus wine & digestives) in less than 2 hours with the two of us. Definitely recommended!
