La Lune has three sets of tables alongside a wall behind the host stand. Those 3 tables have a type of stool-chair that is unique only to those tables. These chairs are extremely uncomfortable in combination with the small tables. Our meal was unpleasant & our experience was dampened entirely because of the chairs & table. The food was still amazing. It seems getting any particular table is completely out of one's control. We simply got unlucky. It seems strange to me that such a nice place would have such uncomfortable seats & tables. This was my first & likely only time going here. We went for our anniversary. The service was still amazing, our server was exceptional. Thank you to all of the kitchen & foh staff.
Behind a large elegant carved wooden door lays a restaurant raved for their elevated québécois rôtisserie experience in a beautiful & lively brasserie setting.
The appetizers at Rôtisserie La Lune were all fantastic & are great additions to any meal. The XL croqu'ailes stuffed wings were crispy, juicy, & utterly indulgent, & the mustard sauce was a strong complement. The buns were soft with a satisfying chew, & the accompanying onion butter was mouth-wateringly fragrant. The chicken & raviolini soup was the highlight of the meal; it was deeply flavorful, heartwarming & filling.
Unfortunately, we found the chicken to have been a disappointing experience as it was overcooked & dry. With rôtisserie chicken being the prime focus of the menu, we had higher expectations, especially with all the positive reviews for this restaurant. Admittedly it was also a particularly hot & humid summer evening, & we are willing to give the benefit of the doubt that perhaps weather conditions affected cooking times & temperatures.
The accompanying fries were the perfect poutine fries; cooked dark enough for the potato to taste sweet. The gravy was well-spiced with a hit of what I assume is ginger. The unlimited coleslaw was fresh & creamy.
The service were incredibly smooth, professional & highly efficient, & we were made to feel very welcomed & well-accommodated.
Overall, we enjoyed our experience at Rôtisserie La Lune for the most part. We were disappointed that the chicken was overcooked & dry, but perhaps it was a bad day. We look forward to coming back, perhaps during the colder seasons, to have an experience that hopefully better reflects what they have to offer.
It was my first time at la lune.We had a fun experience & the staff is great.
Bons cocktails
Bon service

Beautiful, chic space with a great atmosphere. We were excited to finally try it after seeing so many Instagram posts raving about the chicken, so our expectations were quite high.
Overall, it was good, but not quite as exceptional as we expected. The chicken was tender, though I found it wasn't especially juicy. The sauce was the biggest disappointment for me. It tasted quite plain & lacked the depth of flavour I was hoping for. It was a pleasant meal, but it didn't leave a lasting impression.
