Having read lots of very positives reviews about this place, I thought I'd pay them a visit during our stay in Montréal.
Overall it was a nice experience & the service was good & attentive, but the actual food was nothing extraordinary, at least to our taste (a rotisserie chicken like any other, really) especially considering we liked the starters & breadrolls more than the main course.
Rôtisserie La Lune won the hearts & bellies of three travel weary women last week when they held our reservation to accommodate a delayed flight for one of our party, on a Saturday night no less, & then offered to just bring us dishes that they thought we would enjoy, which turned a highly anticipated meal for three tourists into a four course feast that we will savor for weeks & will probably recount when our lives flash before our eyes at the end of our days (Buns Chauds aux Oignons, Concombres Au Babeurre & Jalapeno, Croqu'Ailes Farcies XL, Terrine de Poulet, Haricots Comme une César, Moitié Moitié, Frites, Béarnaise, carrot cake, & maple marshmallow sandwich cookies). The gracious hospitality & service stood on equal par with the unforgettable food & drink & the gorgeous surroundings. I enthusiastically encourage you to give it a try, & you must order the Croqu'Ailes Farcies.

I was genuinely impressed by La Lune. It's been a long time since I've had a true 10/10 restaurant experience. From the food & service to the ambiance.
A special thank you to Luigi, who did an amazing job explaining the menu, walking us through the specials, & helping us choose the perfect wine. The entire team was incredibly synchronized & attentive.
Every dish was excellent, but the fondues have a special place in my heart. They were even better than my grandma's! Every hot dish arrived perfectly hot, which I really appreciated.
Want some of the best chicken of your life? This is the spot. The skin has a crisp I've never encountered anywhere else, the gravy was delectable, & the food overall was a solid five stars.
One thing I'd love to see on the menu: curds on those fries. The gravy is too good not to.
No AC, so keep that in mind in summer. Bar seating is essentially inside the kitchen. Respect to the chefs.
We'd been at another award-winning bar earlier in the night & they asked us to bring a treat over for the bar staff here. The team loved it, & we ended up trading recommendations on some of the best spots in the city. Everything was flawless until the sommelier got involved. She was knowledgeable but cold. We ordered an expensive bottle of wine & were finishing dinner incredibly happy, & then our server, who had been fantastic all night, offered us an aperitif on the house. She stepped in out of nowhere & blocked it. That left a sour taste after spending hundreds of dollars, having a dessert drink pulled at the end. I don't know her official title, but she killed the vibe on the way out. We didn't run into anything like this anywhere else in Montreal.
Quand même très cher pour ce que c'est. C'est plein à craquer, & tu sens que les serveurs souhaitent rapidement libérer ta table. La nourriture était bonne, mais trop chère.
We had a wonderful experience at Rôtisserie La Lune.
We were warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived, & several staff members greeted us with a friendly bonjour as we made our way to our table. The space is beautiful, with a distinctive 1970s postmodern feel & great energy.
The service was knowledgeable, attentive, & accommodating. The table set aside for us was a high-top, but when we asked to move to a regular table, they gladly obliged.
The chicken was moist & succulent, & the gravy was absolute perfection. A must-try. We'll definitely be back soon.
