seems a bit expensive for what it is, maybe cuz of the location. service was super friendly & nice :) for food, burrata was probs my fave with the leeks & bacon but i just love cheese. the tuna crudo was p interesting & rly good too!! just hurts that its like $29 for 5 pieces loool. avocado carpaccio was interesting too but flavours felt too familiar/simple to me (avo, sesame, chili crisp). brussel sprouts sides was mushy not crispy which im ok w but ik some ppl dont like. rotelle bone marrow pasta was definitely tasty but felt soo heavy by itself ha. short ribs came with kimchi & fries. i loved the fries lmao they remind me of five guys fries but the ribs themselves were just alright

Le service, l'ambiance, les plats : tout était excellent ! J'ai pris la rotelle qui était un vrai régal. Je ne peux que recommander Jellyfish.

Buzzy place with a mixed crowd, all having fun, good food & efficient & very friendly service. Special mention goes to rotelle with oxtail & wild mushroom ragout & bone marrow mixed in at the table. Amazing!

Pour la Saint-Valentin, mon épouse & moi avons eu l'occasion de souper au Jellyfish, & honnêtement, c'était une expérience incroyable. Sur les bons conseils de notre serveuse, qui était super accueillante, nous avons décidé de prendre cinq plats à partager.

Le tuna crudo & l'avocado carpaccio étaient excellents, avec un beau mélange de textures. Le plat de rotelle était aussi très bon, réconfortant à souhait. Mais ce qui a vraiment marqué notre soirée, c'était le carré d'agneau & le filet mignon, cuits à la perfection.

J'aurais aimé me souvenir du nom de notre serveuse, car elle nous a très bien guidés pour le menu & les breuvages.

Bref, Jellyfish est définitivement un incontournable!

I can't say enough about our first time visiting this spectacular dining experience. It was recommended by a friend as a place to dine while visiting Montreal. I am so glad she did! The flavours were bursting & the service was spot on. The rotelle is to die for! That bone marrow gives it such richness & the ragoux was so tender. The New York CAB melted in your mouth. Make this a place to dine if you live or visiting Montreal!!!

Ce restaurant à l'intérieur soigné semble souscrire à une philosophie dépassée. Les minijupes imposées aux serveuses sont dignes d'une autre époque, en 2024 on peut questionner ce choix de gestion. Ça donne l'impression que ce resto est davantage axé sur le paraître que la qualité & ça se reflète dans l'assiette. Nous avons commencé par l'huîtres façon nachos, particulier... pas mauvais mais le porc est tellement goûteux qu'on y perd l'huître. Ça manque de finesse pour réinventer Rockefeller, j'invite à travailler ce concept. Nous avons goûté un excellent plat de champignons dans les entrées, la polenta & crème de maïs était formidable (il semble que le chef avait récemment amélioré le plat au grand bénéfice de nos papilles). Par contre, le tataki de boeuf n'en est pas un. Le boeuf est medium bien cuit & les saveurs mal agencées. Le gravlax est bon, sans nous donner l'envie d'en manger une autre assiette. Je déconseille vivement les rotelles , la pâte n'est pas cuite. Il y a confusion dans la définition d'Al dente. Si c'est leur interprétation, ça devrait être dit au moment de la commande "nos pâtes sont croquantes". Nous avons retourné la pâte, car elle n'était pas mangeable, ils l'ont refait, malheureusement c'était presque la même chose mais la sauce était devenue hyper concentrée, alors ça donne la perception qu'ils ont refait cuire le plat au lieu d'en refaire un, ce qui aura concentré la sauce au point où elle ne goûtait que le sel. cette façon de faire est indigne d'un restaurant de ce prix qui aspire à la gastronomie. Personne ne s'est intéressé au résultat, nous l'avons dit à la serveuse, on nous a quand même chargé ce mauvais plat de pâtes non cuites. Enfin, le boeuf coupe NY était très bien. Le service au bar était très sympathique, mais une étoile spéciale pour le sommelier, Jonathan , un passionné qui a de merveilleuses suggestions & avec qui il est agréable de discuter. Je connais plusieurs resto à Montréal qui bénéficierait des qualités de ce monsieur. Très dispendieux pour la qualité globale des plats. Bonne dégustation!

Perfect date night spot to share some delicious tapas dishes. For us, 4 dishes were enough. Our server, Michael, was the best! He surprised us by choosing our dishes, taking our preferences into consideration. We had tiger shrimp, avocado carpaccio, pain-puri & the Rotelle was THE BEST (must try)! All of the staff were very friendly & professional. Ambience is on point. We will definitely be back.

We have visited Jellyfish + Crudo a number of times over the years, & it has become one of our go to's when looking for a nice dinner with quality meals in a classy ambiance. The views of the square are charming & offer a beautiful glimpse of Montreal, especially in winter time (see photos for reference). The restaurant offers a mix of seafood & meats...but, as the name reveals, there is a greater emphasis on the seafoods such as Oyster Nachos or Octupus Tempura. For our meal, we started with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts (good but maybe a bit over done), then Hanger Steak (very good with tasty chimichuri sauce), the Filet Mignon (excellent...meat was perfectly done & the mashed potatoes were super creamy & a great compliment to the meat), & the Rotelle (also excellent...the oxtail ragu was super-tasty...but the pasta was a bit too al dente...make sure to request it over-done if you order it...it's also a huge portion so expect to take some home). Dessert was their long standing S'mores (its very good...but VERY sweet). Also, based on previous visits I recommend the Avocado Carpaccio as an excellent starter (especially if you like truffle). Service was excellent with a call-out to Catherine who always seemed available or just checking up on us even though the restaurant was quite full. Strong recommendation...especially as a date night or for a special family celebration. Enjoy!

Wonderful experience. Hot oyster dish was amazing, as was the rotelle pasta with oxtail. Pasta & oysters were cooked & seasoned perfectly. Our friendly & attentive waiter provided me with a wonderful cocktail, made to my "specifications." I didn't know exactly what I wanted, so he asked for my preferences & whipped up the perfect blend of not-too-sweet & thirst-quenching. Highly recommend.

I totally loved the overall experience here! I would recommend booking way ahead of your dinner. The tables indoor get booked really fast.

We got a table outdoor dinning area. It was beautiful with lights & flowers. Could get a bit cold so make sure you have a sweater.

The food was absolutely amazing. Every bite was a delight. I loved all the rich flavours of the food. The chicken & Rotelle were my best dishes. Can’t describe the feeling of that chicken in the butter sauce that accompanied it.

There was also the fried fish(I can’t remember the name) it was fresh & well prepared. It also had an amazing sauce to go with it. I ordered for medium rare steak & it was yummy!

The Rotelle came with oxtail & mushrooms in it & portion is large so can be shared by 2. We were stuffed & had a wonderful time here.
It was my birthday & I got a complementary piece of cake on the house. The cocktails were great as well.

The service here was exceptional. They made sure we got our drinks topped regularly. They were patient, explained the dishes, made great recommendations & overall were courteous.

Overall, this was an awesome experience. I literally had zero complains. Lol 🤣😂 except the fact that I was over fed. Every meal was delicious. I will definitely love to come back for my dates.
