Gabriela was a fantastic server & took such great care of us! The food was fantastic (you have to try the Avocado appetizer!!!) & so were the cocktails. The broccolini wasn't good but they promptly replaced it with a salad. We absolutely enjoyed our date night very much! 🤩
Jellyfish is a great restaurant! The service was exceptional, & the food was delicious. Our group especially liked the avocado carpaccio as a starter, & their homemade bread was excellent.
The only hiccup is the women's bathroom. It's confusing how neglected & unwelcoming it feels. I'm not sure what this kind of oversight reveals about the restaurant's attention to detail … it's definitely in need of renovation.

I've been coming here with my husband ever since we first started dating for our most special occasions. Probably have been there over 6-10 times in the last 2 years. We loved it so much but we were there yesterday for Valentine's Day & the food was not that great... Gabrielle was our waitress & was super sweet but the food honestly wasn't great, they didn't have their brioche, she said they're selling'focaccia' which was not focaccia at all, they didn't have their broccolini, their avocado appetizer is not as good as it used to be... giving it a 3 overall.
seems a bit expensive for what it is, maybe cuz of the location. service was super friendly & nice :) for food, burrata was probs my fave with the leeks & bacon but i just love cheese. the tuna crudo was p interesting & rly good too!! just hurts that its like $29 for 5 pieces loool. avocado carpaccio was interesting too but flavours felt too familiar/simple to me (avo, sesame, chili crisp). brussel sprouts sides was mushy not crispy which im ok w but ik some ppl dont like. rotelle bone marrow pasta was definitely tasty but felt soo heavy by itself ha. short ribs came with kimchi & fries. i loved the fries lmao they remind me of five guys fries but the ribs themselves were just alright

Outstanding, very creative, scrumptious, diverse menu. We enjoyed the oysters, tuna crudo, sea bream sashimi & a shrimp dish with strawberries (best cold shrimp dish we've ever had). Avocado carpaccio & a Duck coopa that were both mouthwatering!!! Filet mignon, New York Cut, perfectly prepared with French fries……delectable! Every dish was truly exceptional, a work of art. As exquisite visually as each was delectable!
Service is always amazing, this time was no exception, IMPECCABLE. Camille & her team were outstanding. Very kind, Courteous, Knowledgeable, never intrusive, very attentive. Perfectly timed courses presented by Lee (& others) all with wonderful descriptions of each dish. Distinctive bar menu & a flair for creating special cocktails! Stunning, trendy establishment, very comfortable seating, lovely ambient music, excellent location in Old Montreal.

Valet parking available or several parking lots close by. Enjoy a lovely walk around Old MONTREAL after dinner! Don't forget to ask them how they came up with the wonderful name for their restaurant!

Had a reservation at the sister restaurant PubJelly for our visit to Montreal, but due to a private event they contacted us in advance to move reservation to Jellyfish, which we agreed to. Sooooooooo happy that we did; great wine selection, beautiful cocktails, local tasty beers started the evening on a great note. The staff was knowledgeable & friendly - the recommendation of the avocado carpaccio introduced me to one of my favourite all time dishes. HIGHLY recommend. The other appetizers were amazing as well & the rest of the meal also did not disappoint. All in all, Jellyfish delivered an amazingly memorable evening with family & friends. I look forward to going back next time we are in Montreal.
Pour la Saint-Valentin, mon épouse & moi avons eu l'occasion de souper au Jellyfish, & honnêtement, c'était une expérience incroyable. Sur les bons conseils de notre serveuse, qui était super accueillante, nous avons décidé de prendre cinq plats à partager.
Le tuna crudo & l'avocado carpaccio étaient excellents, avec un beau mélange de textures. Le plat de rotelle était aussi très bon, réconfortant à souhait. Mais ce qui a vraiment marqué notre soirée, c'était le carré d'agneau & le filet mignon, cuits à la perfection.
J'aurais aimé me souvenir du nom de notre serveuse, car elle nous a très bien guidés pour le menu & les breuvages.
Bref, Jellyfish est définitivement un incontournable!

Appetizer: tuna, scallop, black cod, & avocado were excellent, crafty presentation tasted really good. The scallop was fine, the concept is better than the actual taste but still satisfactory Main course: steak & halibut was amazing, generous cut, flavourful & pretty presentation. Lamb was ok, but I wouldn't recommend Dessert: panna cota with bourbon sauce & orange was excellent, well balanced sweet, cream, & freshness, also very pretty. Chocolate & caramel tarte was ok, a bit too heavy Overall atmosphere was very pretty & spacious, great for dates with friend & family Service was excellent, fast & responsive, the addition of coat check was also adding the experience so much bette
Perfect date night spot to share some delicious tapas dishes. For us, 4 dishes were enough. Our server, Michael, was the best! He surprised us by choosing our dishes, taking our preferences into consideration. We had tiger shrimp, avocado carpaccio, pain-puri & the Rotelle was THE BEST (must try)! All of the staff were very friendly & professional. Ambience is on point. We will definitely be back.
We have visited Jellyfish + Crudo a number of times over the years, & it has become one of our go to's when looking for a nice dinner with quality meals in a classy ambiance. The views of the square are charming & offer a beautiful glimpse of Montreal, especially in winter time (see photos for reference). The restaurant offers a mix of seafood & meats...but, as the name reveals, there is a greater emphasis on the seafoods such as Oyster Nachos or Octupus Tempura. For our meal, we started with the Crispy Brussel Sprouts (good but maybe a bit over done), then Hanger Steak (very good with tasty chimichuri sauce), the Filet Mignon (excellent...meat was perfectly done & the mashed potatoes were super creamy & a great compliment to the meat), & the Rotelle (also excellent...the oxtail ragu was super-tasty...but the pasta was a bit too al dente...make sure to request it over-done if you order it...it's also a huge portion so expect to take some home). Dessert was their long standing S'mores (its very good...but VERY sweet). Also, based on previous visits I recommend the Avocado Carpaccio as an excellent starter (especially if you like truffle). Service was excellent with a call-out to Catherine who always seemed available or just checking up on us even though the restaurant was quite full. Strong recommendation...especially as a date night or for a special family celebration. Enjoy!

A great experience for a nice dinner, nothing to criticize at all. The service was great although it was busy; the atmosphere was cozy & warm & the food was on point. Tried the filet mignon & the hanger steak both were cooked to perfection tender & juicy & goes great with the rest of the plate, it all comes together very well. For the entree went with the avocado carpaccio & it was the best, light & packed with flavours. Recommend!
