Great place to go if you are looking for a great dish of brisket, ribs, smoked chicken. The cocktails were really good too. This was our first visit but this restaurant has been included in our list of favorites ones. John the owner is a very kind, sweet & passionate of his work. As soon as the pilot says we can use our phones, I text Gianni & asks him to save me a Beef Rib. Not many BBQ spots north of Texas can do a beef rib as good as this guy… of course I'll have the brisket, the pulled pork & the ribs too & then roll home, very happy.
Meat is of a good quality. We had brisket, beef rib & pulled pork.
What I didn't find in comment section that is important: if you come as a group you have to order 1 option of meats & sides for everyone. You cannot order your choice of meats or sides. Even though each of you is paying separately, the choice gets limited to only one. So make sure that you share tastes with everyone in the room otherwise you're stuck with the majority.
My friend & I were looking for Bbq & stumbled across this place on google maps. The service we got was impeccable & the food was just as good as it looks! We got the sharing plate with 3 meats & 3 sides. All the sides (mac & cheese, coleslaw, & beans) were flavourful & all of the meats (smoked chicken, beef rib, brisket) were tender & moist. I'd love to come back to try the other meats next time! The atmosphere was cozy as well & we were sat by the window.
Let me tell a little story. About 3 weeks prior to visiting Lattuca, I was in Dallas, & had some great BBQ while down in sunny Texas. When a co worker said we were going to Quebec, & he booked reservations at'An amazing' BBQ place, I was confused. Quebec & BBQ didn't go together in my mind. But, oh how wrong I was. Latucca may very well be the BEST BBQ I have ever had, & I'd like to think I've had a lot, having lived in NC for 4 years. We ordered a group platter, each with our own set of sides, & those by themselves could have been a meal. The Slaw, with a vinaigrette base was amazing. Great Mac & Cheese, & the baked beans were as well. But that meat platter, holy crap. Pulled pork, pork ribs, & brisket. I have absolutely 0 critiques, & 0 complaints. John Lattuca may have to open a place in Seattle so I don't go broke flying to Quebec for dinner. Outstanding place. Thank you Pitmaster Latucca, & staff for the amazing experience.

The atmosphere was casual comfort. The brisket was absolutely the best I've ever had! The portion was huge & I had lovely leftovers the following day. The owner is kind, knowledgeable & clearly skilled as a pit master!
The Best BBQ Outside of Texas!
We come to Lattuca BBQ year after year all the way from Ontario, & every single visit reminds us why this place is unbeatable. The smoked meat here is absolutely phenomenal-tender, juicy, & packed with flavor that rivals the best Texas barbecue.
The brisket melts in your mouth, the ribs are perfection, & the sides complement everything beautifully. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming, & you can feel the passion behind every dish.
If you're in Montreal & love authentic BBQ, this is THE spot. Worth every mile of the trip!
You don't know an amazing brisket until you have gone to lattuca barbecue. It was tender, juicy & everything you want in brisket. The pulled pork was also delicious even a person who hates pork ate it & loved it. The staff was also amazing & they made me feel at home. Overall I would recommend this to everyone I know. This was a 10/10
We had to convert a dine-in reservation to a take-out because my ladies weren't feeling great. We got brisket & beef rib. The beef rib was delicious, but the brisket was amazing. So good my picky daughter would *not* stop talking about it. & I agree, it was utterly fantastic...it's no surprise it's won awards.
Beans were tasty, slaw was good, & the wife said the Mac & cheese was good. I'm a celiac & the meals came with separately packed Mac & cheese, & they kept one meal for me without.
Staff was lovely & helpful when I picked up. Will happily return in the future!

Came in without a reservation & the owner was able to seat us because it was only my wife & I. He makes just enough food to cover the reservations but did accommodate us & I'm so glad he did. Best brisket I've ever had & the sides were perfect. I highly recommend & we will be back!
Went as a large party for 8 with a reservation. Service was beyond terrible. Took 20 minutes before we got any water, 20 before they took our drink orders, another 20 before we got to *hear* the menu since they don't have one. We had ordered the brisket, the pork ribs, & the chicken for both sides of the table. When we did get the food another 30 minutes after ordering, it was only half of our party's food, & then another 10 minutes before the other platter arrived, with one of the meat orders wrong to boot. They claimed that the wrong order was them swapping out the ribs for the pulled pork so that we'could try out the whole menu'. When it came time to get the bill, they had to take pictures of the bills since their receipt printer was not functioning.
Every single part of the sit down experience was one failure after another up until the very end.
Extremely disappointing with the experience. If you want to try the food, I'd recommend getting it to go or through a delivery app, though I'd still be wary of the price on those.
If you want elite smokehouse bbq, this place is incredible. An amazing gem in Montreal! You will leave full & very satisfied! The brisket & beef ribs are INCREDIBLE! I've eaten a lot of bbq & Lattuca is by far the best.

Although I haven't had the chance to eat at Lattuca Barbecue yet, I already feel like a valued customer, & that speaks volumes. I had a reservation for Sunday, July 20th, 2025 (3pm-5pm), & was genuinely impressed when someone from the restaurant personally called my cell to cancel in advance due to a family obligation. That level of courtesy & communication is rare these days.
It's clear that Lattuca Barbecue cares not only about the food they serve but also about the people they serve it to. I truly appreciated the heads-up & the respectful way it was handled.
I'm really looking forward to finally visiting & trying their famous brisket. I've heard nothing but great things! If their customer service is any indication, I'm sure the food will be just as incredible.

The menu is verbal only which is fine since it's so simple. The brisket was a bit dry but the pulled pork & pork rib were really good! The service was very fast & the sides were good.
Stumbled upon this gem, the brisket, beef ribs & chicken was amazing, delicious, tender, & flavourful! The sides of coleslaw, Mac n cheese & baked beans were also delicious & flavourful ! Une envie de barbecue texan m'a poussé à aller tester le Lattuca - & que dire à part que je reste sur ma faim dans tous les sens du terme. Une fois les taxes & le pourboire ajouté, le plateau avec 2 viandes & 2 accompagnements revient à environ 45$. Les portions sont petites, le tout est servi à peine tiède, le brisket est trop cuit, les fèves semblent sorties d'une conserve, même le mac&cheese est décevant, seul le porc effiloché tire son épingle du jeu. Niveau ambiance c'est bien triste pour une soirée d'été, la musique est à peine audible, le lieu manque de décoration. Bref, je ne le recommande pas du tout!
