Food is good, no complaints there. Service however is slow as hell, so expect to have a line up just to settle your bill.
But it's getting 2 stars for the fraud. They literally tell you there's no menus but that you have 4 choices of meat. If you pick ribs, it's an extra 8$ per person. They don't tell you that however, & because there's no menu, you can't dispute it.
So they can make up whatever price they want on the spot.
Also, they don't offer napkins. They offer a roll of brown paper.
Good food, not worth the trouble though. We read a review that mentioned that before & thought' surely the reviewer was lying' well no he wasn't. I can confirm.
I don't know what i was expecting of this place. Didn't live up to the'world champion brisket' advertisment. Portions were so small for the price. 1 single piece of rib for everyone. Brisket was dry. Sides are good but small. Not worth the money. & let's not start with the service. How can i say it: there is none. They bring you water once for the whole supper. We were lucky to find a pichet on the table next to us.
Also there is no menu. You have to order what they give you.
Avoid this place. So many better restaurants in old port. Very unfortunate

Hands down the best dining experience I have ever had. Even after a party who didn't pay for their meal, we still received a free portion of beef ribs (which were spectacular) & a round of scotch on the house.
All of the food was immaculate & you can feel the care that is put into the service & the food. From your basketball friends from Newfoundland.
Food reviews are always the hardest to trust, as everyone feels so differently about how something should be done. Being big fans of BBQ, the Lattuca did not disappoint. Pulled pork, ribs & brisket were delicious & the sides (Mac-n-cheese, beans, & coleslaw) rounded out the meat selection. Staff were friendly & helpful.
The smoked beef ribs, brisket, & pulled pork were the best things I ate all night, even after that Nuggets win. Honestly, I would be the best thing you order all week, so a cute guy should just say hello. You know you want to make that move.
Oh we talk about this place, this place deserves to be talked about! We came in for a Friday night dinner, it became packed pretty quick around 5pm. We tried a mix of things including beef ribs & everything was perfect. It was a great meal with great service were happy we had the opportunity to stop in & have a great meal.
Overpriced for such laid back BBQ. They charge an extra $16 for a shared beef rib that is 80% fat & bone. The smoked pull pork & brisket were good, but not amazing. We had a shared plate with three meats & two sides & just had water to drink, & the bill came to $100 with tip.
Update; we went to latucca bbq. Had exact same as before the beef rib, brisket, mac & cheese & beans. First off the brisket was so soft & packed with flavor. Beef rib was the same, juicy soft & tasty. Mac & cheese was a bit better but still mid. The second picture is at the restaurant
Got ours delivered. Hadd brisket, beef rib, beans, mac & cheese.
The brisket was soft & tender & was deadly. The beef rib had lots of meat, juicy, & tasty. Beans were good too but the mac & cheese was mid.
