6:30pm reservation. server didn't come to table for a while. she seemed flustered. no menu, no prices. finally offered a drink. had to get up & ask for food. told 30 min. only three other tables. turning away customers. locked door. whats going on? food comes. brisket, while flavorful, was cold. ribs (2) taste nice, but also cold. chicken? one piece of bone in thigh (very small) also cold, beans too sweet & cold, mac dried & cold. Strange experience. something must have happened to the ovens, but for 45$, i thought the portions were too small. nice try, won't be back.

Une excellente expérience chez Lattuca dans le Vieux-Montréal! Le propriétaire est vraiment sympathique & on sent qu'il y a une vraie passion derrière l'endroit. La cuisson de la viande est exceptionnelle - seuls les vrais amateurs de viande savent apprécier ce type de cuisson! 🥩

& mention spéciale au papier à main brun : ça donne un petit côté authentique & sans prétention que j'ai vraiment apprécié. Un endroit qui assume son style & son savoir-faire. Je recommande sans hésiter!

Incredible experience at Lattuca tonight. Food was decadent. Meat was tender & juicy & the sides were the perfect complement. We sat at the bar & chatted with John the owner & award-winning Pitmaster. His stories & love for BBQ made the evening a 10 out of 10. Jade & Angelina's energy & smiles were the cherry on top. Highly recommend a visit to try one of their platters. The beef rib add on is a must. Make sure to reserve.

All the meat options that I've tried were always tasty & flavorful, very tender as well. Nice little spot, never too crowded. Although, the service the last time I went did take very long unfortunately.

I always make a point of eating at Lattuca when I come to Montreal - some of the best bbq I've ever had. Most notably the beef ribs which are excellent.
Relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a nice night on the patio.
Highly recommend!!!

To each their own but it wasn't for me. Definetly not the best ribs in town imo. I don't understand all these positive reviews but hey, there's no accounting for taste.

My office & I had a fabulous experience with Lattuca BBQ (catering). The contact with John was easy, the food fantastic, the portions enormous. My favorites were the ribs, the beans, the buns & the coleslaw. The brisket & chicken were also very popular. Thank you again John for this amazing experience! 🤩
