Stopped by on a road trip to Montreal, after scouting around for breakfast/brunch spots open before 9am. They were quite busy this morning with a group of hotel guests in & out of a sports event, but the service was good & were accommodating with our many questions.
We got the three meat with cheese, prosciutto & brie, & salmon & cream cheese bagels. Honestly, I love Montreal bagels more than New York style & these bagels hit the spot!
The juices are also so good! Recommend the strawberry & banana or raspberry juice for a non-smoothie, non-caffeinated pick me up.
There's not much seating outside the storefront or inside the building.
I'm not even a bagel person, but I came here because of its reputation. Walked 20 minutes in the cold wearing just a T-shirt (with some stops along the way, of course).
We had one Americano, one juice, & two bagels-each sliced in half to share.
The chicken & cheese bagel was rich & flavorful thanks to the salty cheese. The chicken had a slight sweetness to it. Once the bagel was heated, the sesame aroma really came through. One bite, & you'd feel it was worth traveling thousands of miles.
The other half was smoked salmon & avocado. Since the salmon was lightly seasoned, it couldn't be heated, so the bagel itself was a bit hard-but with each chewy bite, the salmon & avocado danced through, like fish swimming freely. The sesame seeds added an extra layer of texture-cold but stunningly flavorful.
The mixed juice (raspberry & mango) wasn't too sweet-very drinkable. At $7, it's even cheaper than the $7.20'Three Brothers' drink at CoCo nearby. Who's still buying CoCo?
The Americano? Honestly, I had low expectations. I mean, what would you expect from a bagel shop? But it was surprisingly good-rich in oils, medium-light roast, with clear tea notes & a touch of fruity acidity. Truly excellent.
Also, while lingering at the entrance watching people chat outside the shop, I jumped in to ask which flavor was the best. A white gentleman complimented me:
'Where did you get your Hermès scarf?'
-'In Douyin,' I replied.

They are in RESO/Underground. This was our second time. We had toasted sesame bagels with regular cream cheese, juice & coffee. Very decent food & kind service.
The variety of bagels & options they offer is impressive. They make their bagels fresh, every morning; if you get there for breakfast, you can even order your bagel right out of the oven. You can choose from different flavors of cream cheese, jam, ham, turkey, bacon, avocado, cold-cuts, etc. They also offer fresh juices, granola bars, muffins, cookies, yogurt parfait, fruits, nuts, etc. I ordered smoked salmon bagel & enjoyed every bite of it.
I found this place while looking for a place that was open in the morning. From the morning, many people seemed to be buying coffee & bagels. Since we already had bagels, we decided to just buy drinks. I saw several bottles of juice in the showcase on the right & thought I should try it, so I ordered the Spinach Apple Avocado (epinard pomme avocat) Juice. It was a juice with the texture of spinach & apple peel, the refreshing taste of apple, & the softness of avocado. It has a slightly bitter taste, but I actually like it because it takes away the feeling that lingers in your mouth for a long time when you eat something sour. Next time I visit, I want to try something else. I think the fact that it costs $6 per cup also plays a part. There are about 8 tables for two right in the store, & there are benches here & there, so it would be a good place to eat the food I bought here. I am also sitting on a high stool & drinking juice right now.
