Tried the pistachio roll (croissant) here. First - it is pricey, at $12+ for one roll. The good about the roll is the pastry itself was really good & perfectly baked & held up well with lot of filling inside. However, the pistachio filling was too sweet, & was way too green which meant it contained artificial flavors/coloring & that is also reflected in the taste. I've had quite a few pistachio croissants & none of them have had filling so green. Based on that, I would probably recommend having a plain butter croissant but none of the filled or fancy ones. Should have looked at other reviews since many have called out this same thing.
Comme beaucoup d'autres avant moi, je suis venu tester le fameux roll, si trendy, si instagrammable. La place est étroite & le personnel souriant. Roll en main, je suis allé le déguster à l'extérieur auprès de touristes venus des quatre coins du monde. On disait le roll fantastique ! Si on parle du prix, oui très certainement, on en a pour son sucre & pour son gras. Le reste m'a laissé un souvenir tout a fait oubliable. Vous avez compris que je n'ai pas trippé tant que ça sur la viennoiserie, mais c'est un avis tout à fait personnel & je comprends très bien que d'autres personnes puissent l'apprécier. Tous les gouts sont dans la nature. Est ce que j'y retournerais ? Oui j'essaierai autre chose :)

The pistachio croissant roll is disappointing. I tried the mango & pistachio flavor. It is very sweet & I don't feel the rich flavor of pistachio. If I hadn't had any good pistachio croissant, I would probably say it was decent. But there r some local patisserie making real good pistachio croissant. & it's 10$ each, a bit expensive for what it's worth. But almond croissants is decent.
i was very disappointed, paid $12 for a pistachio roll croissant & it was artificially flavored, tasted so bad i had to take out part of the filling, but my boyfriend had the crookie & it was good
Habitué a prendre les roll de cette boulangerie. Ils sont d'habitude très frais & très bon. Aujourd'hui ceux a la pistache étaient vraiment moues (pas du jour ?). De plus prix vraiment excessif 11$ hors taxe le roll c'est vraiment rendu trop cher pour ce que c'est avant c'était autour de 9$
Terrasse agréable & staff sympathique. Le roll a 11$ c'est clairement trop cher pour ce que c'est, en plus il est loin d'être fantastique. Le café glacé, c'est en fait un café expresso allongé avec des glaçons dedans, franchement nul. Le café au lait lui était bon. On n'y reviendra pas.
Cet endroit propose parmi les meilleures viennoiseries de Montréal. J'ai eu l'occasion de goûter leur NY roll à la pistache ainsi que leur chocolatine qui sont absolument délicieux. En revanche, le lieu est très petit avec seulement 3 places assises environ. Bien qu'il y ait une petite terrasse à l'extérieur, ce n'est donc pas toujours approprié pour y manger en hiver. Malgré cet inconvénient, je recommande vivement cette boulangerie pour une pause gourmande dans le Vieux-Port.

I got the pistachio croissant & the cinnamon roll brioche. Both were absolutely amazing! The pistachio filling was a little too much for my liking but it was fantastic nonetheless. Also not overly sweet! They make an AMAZING cappuccino & fair priced.
D'excellentes viennoiseries. Par contre, le prix fait un peu mal (11 $ le roll)... Nous avons pris un roll choco-noisettes & un roll Paris-Brest. C'est gourmand & réussi !
Le roll aux pistaches était un peu cher (11$) mais Ô combien délicieux, un chef d'oeuvre à essayer !! Nous le reprendrons assurément. Le croissant jambon fromage était également très très bon!!
Sérieusement les prix pratiqués sont insensés ! Y a eu un peu trop de pub sur Instagram.... C'est la raison pour laquelle je suis venue la. Mais 17$ (hors service) pour un Roll & un cappuccino... Merci mais non merci
Petite boulangerie. La terrasse est agréable par beau temps. Il n'y a pas une variété folle de produits mais ils sont bien maîtrisés. Le roll choco noisette très belle réalisation, le roll pistache fleur d'oranger un peu moins hélas. Je trouve que les prix sont très élevés.
Is great that they open early on weekends (7am), but there isn't much available yet. I went later on a weekday to try the famous pistacho croissant roll, is good, not too sweet & average size, but doesn't worth the 12 CAD
