We went for a birthday celebration. Food was good. There's a good selection of dipping sauces. Service was top notch! Our server even gave us hair ties & an apron! You can get freebis if you know the codes. 1 code per table.
Today is my mom's birthday, & we are celebrating at Haidilao in Montreal. My parents have been in Montreal for just two months, & they were feeling a bit homesick. But today's meal instantly made them feel like they were back home. The young lady who served us, named Jessica, was beautiful, professional, & exceptionally kind! We truly want to give a big thumbs up to Haidilao's service. Every little detail made us feel so special!

The vibe & food at this restaurant are amazing. & I want to express thank Swan for celebrating my birthday with me. She's the sweetest person I've ever met, her singing was a bit loud, but it got everyone singing along, which made me so happy! Even though I was too shy to take a photo, I'll always remember Swan for everything she did.
We celebrated my birthday there. The atmosphere was joyful, & we appreciated Joy's kind service. She is really nice & patient throughout the whole dinner. My friends & I did have a wonderful time there, & we would like to go there again
Fondue Haidilao is a hot pot restaurant that is completely unrivaled! As soon as you walk into the building, the waiters will warmly welcome you & offer their services. The room is very clean & organized. In addition, the restaurant uses quality ingredients for their hot pot & provides a huge sauce bar with side dishes. They even clean up your table as you are eating! Also, they will sing a song & offer you a gift if it is your birthday. We were highly impressed by both the food & the service. We will definitely come back to Fondue Haidilao.

I went to Haidilao for me & my girlfriend birthday, we were a group of 8. I enjoy eating hot pot but im not necessarily the biggest fan either. I went there with the expectation to have a decent souper with friends but it well exceed it. The food itself was good but what differentiate it to other restaurant is the service. The chef that makes the hand pulled noodle does a very good job to entertain the table while also making the noodles. The waitress was very nice & helpful. Would highly recommend going just for the amazing service but also dont forget to say the secret phrase.
Amazing service & really cool experience. They literally thought of every single detail in the customer experience. Everyone was sooo friendly & welcoming. They offered aprons for everyone & hair ties for people with long hair. It was our friend's birthday they sang her happy birthday & gave her a small gift & pros. The food was really good. It was our first time trying chinese hotpot & it was so fun.
Haidilao is the best Chinese restaurant & Fondue in town. It lifts the Chinese foods & services standard in Montreal. I have been to Haidilao in China, which is a very popular chain fondue there. I am very happy that Haidilao brings their authentic tastes here, the foods are very fresh, services are amazing, bathroom is clean, even provides Listerine, toothpick & etc. The notable waitress DADA is amazing, she knows the menu well, she suggests us to try the broth & meats out of our routine, & explains exactly timing to be cooked. We followed her advices, the results are out of expectation. She made our first experience so memorable. DADA is also very energetic, not only a good waitress, she is also a good singer for the birthday songs, her energy engages people singing with her that creates happy atmosphere for the restaurant. According to DADA, she is a big fan of Haidilao while she lived in China, I highly recommend to request for her services if you would like to have exceptional experience in Haidilao. She will take care of you for no doubt.

First time & won't be the last! A HUGE shout out to Rae who made our first visit so memorable. She guided us in the amount of food we should order, always made sure our glasses were full & she made our son's birthday extra special, so special that my daughter requested to have Rae for her birthday too. See you soon Rae!
I went recently with a group of friends (we were 6) & the service was beyond amazing! Jenny took care of our table & my entire group agreed that Haidilao lives up to the "best service & experience" offered. Jenny made the night extra memorable & we couldn't have happier with the whole night. She was very sweet, gave good food recommendations, & made sure we all knew how the system works since it was all our first time there. Truly the best service I've had, ever! Food was great & appreciated the birthday song & noodle dance :)) Will 100% be back & recommend +++
This is not just a restaurant, it's a whole experience! First time in a hot pot restaurant, was very well guided by our server. The food is amazing, the service impeccable from the waiting area to the exit, & what an entertainment with the noodle & birthday show! Food very good quality & tasty, the best hotpot place I tried yet. Nice set up for table with storing space under seat & a kind of movable shelves to put food standing by to cook. Good decorations & atmosphere. Service could be better. Beg waiter multiple time to clean the table (just remove dirty plate & dirty paper) & still don't do it. Give the birthday dessert to my kid in the middle of a pile of trash.

The food is extremely expensive, & we ate but could have eaten more had we ordered more. The vibe was nice, but not at the same level than in China. This is because some waiters they hired are clearly annoyed, or it's because they do not understand the service standard of Haidilao in China, I don't blame them though. & the guys who come & bring us food don't say anything/are expressionless. Talking about food, while we did enjoy what we had ordered. The shrimps are not fresh. The vegetable portions are way too small. So that's a bit disappointing. Talking about vibe, Haidilao tried hard to mimic the hotpot scene in China. Some waitresses did perform dances for other parties - such as for birthday or kemusan, so that's nice. However there is not too much singing. & the dining space is a bit cramped, there is not much space to walk around without hitting someone: understandable since it's in a downtown location, but it's pretty annoying for clients, also for their staff. Lastly, the place is way too hot: it's a combination of heating, long rectangular dining area, too many people in such a cramped space, all tables emitting water vapor at the same time, as well as lack of air circulation. So it's not very comfortable sitting down. Just my observations. I still love Haidilao, prob won't come back to his one, but will still go to the ones back home. Thanks.
Very nice dining experience! Gabe is very nice food waiter! He is very friendly to help each customer! He sang a birthday song for my friend! Hope next time comes quickly.
