The service was alright, maybe it was just an off night. We had a birthday at our table that we told the waiter about but there was no singing or candle on the dessert. The service here compared to the ones in Toronto is a bit lacking. We also had no meat tongs until the dancing noodle guy came & took some to stir the noodles in our broth.
Nonetheless good food & clean sauce bar !
Visited Fondue Haidilao in Montreal once, & it left a very good impression. The restaurant is bright, clean, & well organized, & the staff were friendly & attentive throughout the meal. The broths were flavourful, the ingredients fresh, & everything came out quickly despite how busy the place was. It has that lively, energetic hot?pot atmosphere that Haidilao is known for, but still feels comfortable & easy to enjoy even on a first visit. Overall, a solid & satisfying experience - I'd happily come back the next time I'm in Montreal.
The service is great , thanks you very much & wish the best to Lily.
High quality, clean food.
Exceptional service, great late night option.
We love the Tom yum (please don't take it off the menu!)& oat milk broths, & they often have lunch & late night specials like the all you can eat. The all you can eat options change every so often, allowing you to try different options, & they often have special promos & festivities for different holidays so it's worth going back.
You start to know which waiters you like more across your visits, although all of them are more attentive than most restaurants. Oliver is always warm & friendly; if the order isn't right, he'll make sure to make it right even if it means calling the kitchen & going there himself to get your drink.
Learn their secret codes, it's always fun.
Super clean, great amenities they really set a new standard for restaurant service in Montreal.
A real Chinese restaurant. Clean, efficient, & excellent service. A place where I'd happily pay the tips.
The place was clean, aesthetic, affordable & the food was excellent! Plus, the service was so good & they even offered hair ties & wipes for glasses! Highly recommended hot pot place filled with numerous options!
Just went to eat there for lunch, the food, customer service & place overall are amazing! They give you wet wipes to clean your hands before your meal & check on you very regularly to make sure you have what you need. The bathrooms are also very clean, there's disinfectant for the toilet seats & they even provide you with mouthwash & handcream once you're done!
The waitress who came back to our table the most (Marie) was so kind & had great vibes, my friends & I really enjoyed getting served by her! Thank you for the amazing service :D
- our waitress was so kind & accommodating & really went above & beyond for
- the washrooms were so clean & clearly regularly maintained
- tablet to order was easy to use in english, chinese & french, & there were waiters who could speak french, english & chinese
- the performers were nice :)
- the only con was that when we came, the elevator was broken, which might pose an accessibility issue
Came here when they had just opened & it was absolutely excellent. Oh how they've fallen.
Service: rushed & no one seems happy to be there - cleaning team was just chucking dishes around making tons of noise. Server only came once to skim the pot - didn't change dirty plates, nor check in regularly. Another one noticed it boiled down & topped it off.
Food: quality has also gone down.'Signature' calamari tasted like fish sticks (probably co-fried). Beef was stringy & more than 60% fat. Doesn't justify the ~$150 for two people. The ones in China are much, much better. Oh & the tip screen now starts at 18%.
Really great staff, & fun experience. I loved it. They should have printed menus because it's hard to see on the phone. The restaurant is very clean except for the refrigerant ductwork & electrical at the ceiling level needs a good cleaning as it was full of dust & lint.
Delicious, Clean, Good service.
It's a little bit expensive though, we enjoyed eating here.
We don't know well about chinese hot pot, so it was a little bit difficult to make own sauce. I want to find my favorite sauce.
I went with my friend & my Goddaughter. We were serve by Clémentine. She was so professional. She smiled, told us about the menu, helped us about our order she even offer to take off the shell of the shrimps for us. She gave us more time because they forgot to bring us our food. Great place, great ambiance. The washrooms are so so so CLEAN.
Thank you so much Clémentine.
PS: if you like spicy, the #4/5 sauce IS VERY VERY SPICY. ( THE RED ONE)
Authentic Chinese Hotpot experience. Great service, clean environment & delicious food!
This has to be the best hotpot restaurant in Montreal, located in one of the most walkable street right in downtown St Catherine. The place is clean & classy & offers really great food at the right price. Service was great, it was fast & really attentive, thank you Fanta for explaining everything & being very welcoming! Food was really good from meat to vegetables all extremely fresh, lots of items available on the menu. There is also a sauce stand available for a small extra, all the sauces were presented very cleanly & freshly prepared. Fried pork was one of the favorite dishes, the spicy soup base is REALLY spicy so pick it only if you're prepared! Honestly highly recommended.
Ephie had the best service I ever experienced in my life. Food was delicious & place was very clean & spacious. Dont forget to use secret code I love children!
Amazing hot pot place! I didnt expected a place to give us such a treat! So well equiped in everything, if you need something to clean your hands, extra something, they provide, also super kind staff & the food really good! I would say that you expect to have something like a buffet but! The quantity & the prices are not bad at all & they have discounts depending at what time you go, so in the end the price its really worth it & sometimes you pay less & get so much nice food for less than a buffet.
Staff is friendly & polite. Easy to order on a tablet. I prefer the sukiyaki broth. Toilets are clean on 2nd floor & accessible by elevator.
Our waiter Lion gave us an AMAZING service! We came for my parents birthday month & he made sure they feel special. He sang happy birthday with enthousiasm litting up the room! Lion is really attentive to details making sure we don't miss anything. The restaurant is clean, has a good selection of food that we can order on a tablet (English French & Chinese available). It's an "à la carte" hot pot (not all you can eat) so it could become pricey. But aside of the price, it's worth it for the amenities & the A+ service.
Overall great Hotpot experience! The moment you walk in, you are greeted by a hostesse who will assign you a srat based on the number of your party. Each seat has a pull up storage where you can put your belongings while you enjoy the food. The sauce making & fruit section is self-served which allows your creativity to kick in to make the dipping sauce you like. The ingredients (meat & vegetables) were fresh & served in a timely manner. You should expect $50+ per person on a normal day. After 9pm, the meat price drops significantly so you can take advantage of hotpot at a more reasonable price. This restaurant is very clean & the servers are very attentive to your needs. Washroom is also equipped with extra items such as hand cream, mouth wash & floss.
Felt like if we were in a true Chinese restaurant. Great service, very clean & professional 👌🏽 👏 Definitely will come back
