A fancy little gem with a great vibe. The staff was very kind & explained each dish as it came out. I ordered a few dishes but the two clear standouts were the nanban fried chicken & the chirashi. First off, the fried chicken was a pleasant surprise, because it was INSANE -the best fried chicken I've ever had. The exterior was a perfectly satisfying crisp imbued with the best flavor. It kind of reminded me of Cantonese pan fried chicken but refined to a peak it never thought it could reach. The chirashi was as beautiful as it was delicious. The fish was super high quality & each piece practically melted in my mouth. It was definitely top shelf omakase grade sushi. This place was such a nice treat. Treat yo self.
This place is soooo good!! The food, service, vibes are all amazing. The urchin mousse is honestly a must. Same with the tofu & rice dish. The yuzu tart is amazing!! Blew me away. The service is very friendly & attentive. For a reservation of 2 people, you will be seated at the bar. Good options for pescatarians. We got a reservation day-of.
This place has a really cool vibe, the service is great & the food is nice too. Great selection of drinks. I would definitely come back next time I'm in Montreal
Food was amazing. Quality of the raw fish was extraordinary. Atmosphere was ok, very basic vibe. Service was average. Our waitress was great so that's why I gave 4 stars. She saved the night. The guy at the door didn't even bother to check my reservation. I arrived 5min earlier & he said that the table will be open at exactly 7pm & I should wait. He didn't even check if it was already available. So if you arrive earlier, I say 5MIN earlier, expect to wait even if the table is free. Then he gave me directions as to where I was supposed to be seated. He made mistake & so we were walking back & forth from basement to top floor. Anyways, all that would be ok if he would at least act like he cared. We didn't feel welcomed.
Nice & cozy little place that has an amazing vibe to it. The service was great & food outstanding!! They have a very unique menu which makes this place stand out from the rest. Totally a 5 star on this one ❤️
This basement bar presents a fun urban experience. No visible front, when you come to this place you'll recognize it from a door with a lineup at the side of a random lot. Gives it a somewhat underground feel to it, pun intended. There is no cover which is great. The place was visibly never fully renovated to be a bar, so it still has the layout of a commercial basement. It does offer some seating around the sides & the back room which is nice. It gets loud but you can still hold a conversation if you are trying to. The bartenders are skilled at their craft. Music here is a bit unconventional but very fun to dance to. Overall this place has a different but enjoyable vibe.
Went to Fleurs & Cadeaux tonight to have dinner with my best friend on his birthday. If you ever go there, please order the Udon noodle, it was one of the top 5 foods i have ever eaten in my life omg 🤤 🤤 🤤
There was a few mishaps in the order but our waiter/bartender Olivier showed super customer service skills by offering a complementary plate in compensation. He was also very knowledgeable in advising different menu & sake options.
Last but not least, we finished our evening in the speakeasy bar downstairs where we had a delicious cocktail & enjoyed the impeccable vibes of the place. A true Montreal gem

What a place! Great energy & extensive sake list. Expect to spend a lot here if you want to get full, though. Chirashi was tasty but a bit pricey, & the rice is seasoned a lot which is a shame, as the special aged soy sauce they serve it with becomes unnecessary at that point. Recommend the agedashi tofu & onsen eggs - total standouts! Worth checking out for the excellent vibe as well as the quality food.
We had high expectations coming to Fleurs & Cadeaux, as it was highly recommended to us but I think we might have just had a really bad service night. It didn't look understaffed, but we had to wait 15mn even with a reservation for a back corner bar seat (on a Wednesday...), asked for water repeatedly 20mn later when no one had come to see us & kept being forgotten, finally ordered 3 dishes that took over an hour to come (one of them being sashimi...) & the third dish was forgotten & came out half an hour later than the rest, cold. The staff kept doing shots with the couple next to us so that might account for the poor service? The preferential treatment created a weird vibe. Food was good, but not worth the bad experience. Out of principle I can't not give a tip, but this would have been one of those rare occasions I think no tip would have been justified. Fairly disappointed overall :(

I really love this restaurant. It truly is a "hidden gem" with great food, great saké list, very fresh sashimi & a really great vibe. Highly recommend.
