The waiter was charming, very nice. The atmosphere is ordinary, but that's ok, I was there for lunch so I wasn't looking for something fancy. The crepes themselves were disappointing, very disappointing, they were bland. My husband ordered the Charlevoix, the spinach was raw, the crepe was sweet. I had the Laurentian, my kids also chose different crepes, they all tasted the same. The dessert crepes were pretty good, but not the lunch ones.
Tasty crepes, both sweet & savory! Service is prompt, portions are good, price is fair - what more can you ask for!?
Pretty bland n tasteless savory crepes. The sweet crepe was slightly better.. but not worth trying. It's just very ordinary nothing special crepes. The wine in cheese fondue was overpowering which made every taste of the cheese fondue bitter. Onion soup was the only better thing there, so we ended up having to fill our stomachs with multiple onion soups....
The waitress kept forgetting basic things like bringing utensils, plates n coffee..... It's definitely not a come back to restaurant
The best crepe place ever!! They have many palate pleasing options for both savory & sweet crepes. They offer gluten free for those with celiac or gluten sensitivities. The staff are kind, courteous & helpful.
We get here to it just some sweet crepes & were great specially the one with marshmallows
We had a good experience but I wouldn't want to suggest that this is one of the top creperies in Montreal. But we had very decent crepes & a nice experience on the patio adjacent to the bustling walkway full of tourists. Grab a savoury first followed by a sweet for the best experience!
The most delicious crepes with so much selection - savory or sweet. Very friendly staff & nice place!!! Every time we visit Montreal we come here for breakfast.
Good spot for a quick crepe. They have an almost excessively large menu of crepe varieties to choose from. Our waitress was friendly & attentive. The restaurant is kid-friendly, with high chairs available. Plenty of vegetarian options. Sweet & savory crepes are available.
The food was amazing & our server Arnaud was so sweet! We got the fondue trio for two & got multiple plates of meat with no up charge. The value for the food is great, would highly recommend
We had the savory crepe which was tasteless, & could hardly cut through the asparagus, although the sweet one was very good. The fellow who served us seemed in a rush, asking us how was the food, but just rushed by while asking & then went out side for a cigarette. A bit disappointing all in all.
Best crepe Suzette. Right on the taste. Thx for satisfying my sweet tooth
The crepes were delicious. I had the salmon crepe for savory & the apple crepe for dessert. Both were fantastic. Especially loved that the apple crepe because it was not overly sweetened; I did not feel too guilty eating it even though it was enormous & had a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Totally satisfying meal-Merci! 🙂
Went here for brunch & had the shrimp crepe as the main dish. It was surprisingly good! We were initially unsure about the combination of sweet crepe with savory shrimp & cheese, but it actually worked really well. Definitely recommend trying it! For appetizers, we had the French onion soup & escargot, & both were just okay. The onion soup was a bit too salty, & the escargot felt pretty ordinary, with small snails. The service was excellent. They checked in on us at just the right times, & our table by the window was perfect, with the sunlight streaming in (such a nice atmosphere!
I never miss out to visit this place when i am in Montreal. This time i visited it thrice in 4 days. Their savoury crepes are as good as the sweet ones. So far i have tried the following items 1. Nutella Banana Strawberry Crepe - A combination that is so simple & yet will always touch your senses. & they nail it. 2. Shrimp Crepe - Fabulous 3. Bananabang - Okayish 4. Tiramisu Crepe - A sweet crepe which is not too sweet. 5. Fondue Chocolate- It was good too.
Came in solo, ordered the savory crepe with asparagus, ham, Swiss & béchamel & a cafe mocha - both were really good! Service was friendly, sat me right by a window, & was attentive to my table. I'd come back & try the French onion soup, fondue &/or the sweet crepes because they have a lot of great options!
Chez Suzette is a charming crêperie that perfectly balances a warm atmosphere with delicious, authentic French crêpes. Located in the heart of the city,Their menu features a wide variety of sweet & savory options to suit every palate. For a savory choice, try the Laurentienne, a hearty crêpe For something sweet,The portions are generous, & the service is consistently friendly & welcoming. Whether you're a crêpe enthusiast or just looking for a unique dining experience, Chez Suzette is a must-visit! Staff are very friendly & the owner visited our table its another sign of a good customer service
Between a cafe & a restaurant the atmosphere is pleasant enough & the staff are super friendly & helpful. Food is pretty good. With savory & sweet crepes, cheese & chocolate & soup fondue, & lots of sweet treats they cover a verity of hungry appetites especially for groups of families & friends. I was going to say that you cannot go wrong with crepes but then I remembered some other places that did manage to ruin crepes but not this place. So praises for knowing what works on crepes! All the toppings & fillings we tried, sweet & savory, were enjoyed by me & my family!
The crepes were so good, especially if you have a sweet tooth. The servers were so nice & helped us to decide.
Crepes were quite nice. I like the variety of vegetarian crepes. I had "western vegetarian crepe" which was filled with scrambled eggs, mushrooms, red peppers & cheese. The garden salad was fresh & large but the dressing was too sweet for me. Service was excellent.
