The pistachio cake is a touch pricey, but it does taste divine. Persian latte is so pretty & creamy, not too sweet. Walnut Baklava is nice!
A calm, warm space with warm, elegant Iranian design that feels completely contemporary.
It's the kind of place where time slows down where sitting with friends or family, sipping your favorite drink, actually feels nourishing.
& if you're lucky enough to catch their pumpkin cake, pistachio cake, or saffron cake… don't think twice.
Fresh, comforting, & quietly unforgettable.
The food carries the soul of Northern Iran from rich Fesenjoon to comforting Baghali Ghatogh or smoky Mirza Ghassemi.
Simple, honest flavors that feel like home.
A place to relax, recharge, & leave a little happier than you arrived.
I came for dessert & wasn't disappointed. I love the genuine hospitality by both the owner & the staff. I was suggested the pistachio cake & Persian tea. It was delicious!
It is pricy yes. But you gotta try it once. Pistachio cake & akhte frozen is AMAZING! Owner is very friendly & we loved their decoration too
Tried the pistachio & saffron ice cream yesterday. Returned today to try their famous pistachio cake. Exceptional, exceptional flavours. The pistachio cake feels like biting into a pistachio cloud covered in a creamy paste that tastes like a pistachio version of Nutella. Not too sweet. Not too moist or too dry. Just perfect. Price is reasonable so easy to buy a second piece :)
This Persian Cafe ( kafe) is such a cute vibe . I ordered pistachio rose saffron latte & saffron cafe . I loved them ! It's a must place to go !
The place was full of agitated barking dogs the day we went, some dogs were not even on leash. Staff refused to let us go upstairs even though we said we were disturbed by the aggressive dogs & 1 of us was allergic. The 2nd floor was not reserved nor busy, they just did not feel like letting people go there to avoid having to climb stairs so it was out of laziness! But since the reason we asked was potential danger grom dogs it's even more unacceptable that they would refuse that. How can a business reject clients? How can a restaurant refuse access to their own tables?! It was several hours before closing time so it cannot be for cleaning reason either. If this is a place reserved for dogs then you should specify it clearly so that people who are allergic or afraid would not bother come in. & it's not dgos fault either, we witnessed how uncomfortable & irritated they were of being confined in such a small space with strangers not ebough room & very noisy people. It was such a big noisy dirty mess right next to the counter so people waiting in line were also squeezed...i never seen anything like it, it was all bad for both clients & dogs poor things could not wait to get out of there! Also, I was told that Persian latte had honey in it but there was zero sweetness in it, not even a little bit. I think they say that but never actuallg put in honey to save money maybe? Also, i expected the drink would like blend the flavours, but actually the spices & pistachios just float on top so the taste is just coffee & milk & you cannot get any fragrance out of it even after mixing. My friend thought baklava was ok. Overall big unexpected disappointment, waste of money that I regret. Was hoping to try other drinks but it was so unwelcoming i cannot bring myself to risk going back there again...
Their pistachio/saffron ice cream is one of the best sweets of Montreal. & you cannot go wrong with anything else! What a gem!
I had the pleasure of visiting Parfums de Perse Cafe for breakfast, & I'm still savouring the experience. I tried the Halim, & wow, it was the ultimate comfort dish-warm, thick, & perfectly spiced. You can tell it's made with love & traditional care, giving it an authenticity that's hard to find elsewhere. But the real surprise? Their pistachio & saffron ice cream-it's absolutely unmatched. Creamy, aromatic, & with just the right balance of saffron & pistachio. It's like a little journey to the Middle East in each bite. & then there's the pistachio cake, which is hands-down one of the best I've ever had. Moist, rich, & with a delicate nutty flavour that leaves you craving more. The staff were so kind & attentive, adding to the warm, inviting vibe of the cafe. If you're looking for an unforgettable taste experience with a personal touch, Parfums de Perse Cafe is a gem that can't be missed. I'll definitely be back soon to try more of their menu!
I had an amazing experience at Parfume de Pers! The Persian food was incredibly delicious, with perfectly cooked kabobs & flavorful ghormeh sabzi. Their Persian ice cream is the best in town-creamy with saffron & pistachios. The cakes in different flavors were also fantastic. The staff was so friendly & welcoming, making the cozy atmosphere even better. Highly recommend!
I really love this place, last time we got the pistachio cake & the pistachio ice cream & they were SO GOOD!!! I also love that you can play board games while enjoying their drinks. I'd love to try their food next time!!
Amazing saffron & pistachio ice cream, saffron latte was balanced & good too! Will definitely try the cakes on my next visit! We sat outside, very nice ambience. Totally Recommend & very friendly staff
Very friendly staff! They offered us a Persian cold drink while we were waiting to get a table. We tried pistachio cake & black tea, also tried the Saffron pistachio ice cream, very tasty 😊 I hope upstairs will be open soon!
Such a beautiful little gem in the city. I was so kindly & warmly welcomed, I took the pistachio cake .. oh my god . So delicious & low sugar, that's amazing ! Thank you
This place was such a delight. If you're going to the Vieux Port de Montréal, I suggest starting here. Lots of street parking. Super kind, friendly, & generous service, reflective of Persian hospitality. We were made to feel right at home, including our pup 😍 The decor is lovely; they have an upstairs & a street terrace. The Persian latte is absolutely delicious! The pistachio cake is very comforting & clearly homemade. They also have meals & lots of sweets & drinks to choose from. Would return
Lovely, family-owned café with personable service & homemade food - I've been a returning customer since their previous location. Their pistachio ice cream is the best one I've tried!
An absolute gem in the city! Amazing service & even better food & drinks. The saffron & pistachio ice cream is unforgettable & you MUST try the Persian latte!
We stopped in the week after they opened here. The family who operates this café are very warm & friendly. We didn't know what to order so they made great suggestions for us. We had a lamb dish in traditional spices served along side a basmati type rice. It was delicious. The tea served after our meal was exceptional as well as a house made pistachio cake. We can't wait to go back!
