We ordered the Baklava Latte, Persian Latte & Saffron Cake each item was distinctly wonderful unlike anything we've ever had before. Must visit if you are in Montreal.
A calm, warm space with warm, elegant Iranian design that feels completely contemporary.
It's the kind of place where time slows down where sitting with friends or family, sipping your favorite drink, actually feels nourishing.
& if you're lucky enough to catch their pumpkin cake, pistachio cake, or saffron cake… don't think twice.
Fresh, comforting, & quietly unforgettable.
The food carries the soul of Northern Iran from rich Fesenjoon to comforting Baghali Ghatogh or smoky Mirza Ghassemi.
Simple, honest flavors that feel like home.
A place to relax, recharge, & leave a little happier than you arrived.
Lovely family owned restaurant. I only stopped by for desserts & fell in love with it that I want to return for lunch.
A must try is the saffron ice cream !!!🍦
Tried the pistachio & saffron ice cream yesterday. Returned today to try their famous pistachio cake. Exceptional, exceptional flavours. The pistachio cake feels like biting into a pistachio cloud covered in a creamy paste that tastes like a pistachio version of Nutella. Not too sweet. Not too moist or too dry. Just perfect. Price is reasonable so easy to buy a second piece :)
This Persian Cafe ( kafe) is such a cute vibe . I ordered pistachio rose saffron latte & saffron cafe . I loved them ! It's a must place to go !
Lovely atmosphere, the soft drink(Yakh dar behesht) , Persian ice cream is heaven😋highly recommended!I also loved the chicken & barberry kuku sandwich, & you should try the saffron cake which is moist & delicious. Don't forget about the Persian breakfast! 🍳 🧋 I tried Haleem from different persian restaurant in Montreal & I can defenitly say that Haleem here was made superrrr good & tasty! (Not sour). Ghormeh sabzi was perfectly made too & it was so delicious! Everything is homemade! Highly recommended!
Really nice & well decorated cafe. Mirza ghasemi & koluche fooman were tasty 🤤 but I didn't like saffron cake. It had a somewhat watery texture & wasn't as firm as I expected. The staff were kind & nice but the service was a bit slow.
My husband & I came here two nights in a row on a recent weekend trip to Montreal. The food is delicious (especially the saffron cake!) & everyone who works here is so kind & welcoming. I definitely plan to come back the next time I'm in town.
Lovely Persian cafe. We had the Persian coffee & Persian fog with the saffron cake which was delicious. The baklava cake was a bit disappointing & dry but was good to try different options. They have board games which you can play while you chat with friends. Lovely cafe.
Their pistachio/saffron ice cream is one of the best sweets of Montreal. & you cannot go wrong with anything else! What a gem!
I had the pleasure of visiting Parfums de Perse Cafe for breakfast, & I'm still savouring the experience. I tried the Halim, & wow, it was the ultimate comfort dish-warm, thick, & perfectly spiced. You can tell it's made with love & traditional care, giving it an authenticity that's hard to find elsewhere. But the real surprise? Their pistachio & saffron ice cream-it's absolutely unmatched. Creamy, aromatic, & with just the right balance of saffron & pistachio. It's like a little journey to the Middle East in each bite. & then there's the pistachio cake, which is hands-down one of the best I've ever had. Moist, rich, & with a delicate nutty flavour that leaves you craving more. The staff were so kind & attentive, adding to the warm, inviting vibe of the cafe. If you're looking for an unforgettable taste experience with a personal touch, Parfums de Perse Cafe is a gem that can't be missed. I'll definitely be back soon to try more of their menu!
I had an amazing experience at Parfume de Pers! The Persian food was incredibly delicious, with perfectly cooked kabobs & flavorful ghormeh sabzi. Their Persian ice cream is the best in town-creamy with saffron & pistachios. The cakes in different flavors were also fantastic. The staff was so friendly & welcoming, making the cozy atmosphere even better. Highly recommend!
Saffron cake & persian latte or persian tea are a heavenly match. Such a mystical experience.
Amazing saffron & pistachio ice cream, saffron latte was balanced & good too! Will definitely try the cakes on my next visit! We sat outside, very nice ambience. Totally Recommend & very friendly staff
Very friendly staff! They offered us a Persian cold drink while we were waiting to get a table. We tried pistachio cake & black tea, also tried the Saffron pistachio ice cream, very tasty 😊 I hope upstairs will be open soon!
I liked the vibes. The business is run by the family. They are very kind & caring. They have homemade traditional saffron ice-cream. So delicious. The owner offered me the slush drink for free while I was waiting for my friend. I got a dish to go! It was packed with care not to spill. I liked the experience & recommend it.
Excellent coffee & the saffron cake was delicious! Friendly staff as well. 5 stars!
I ordered Mirzaghesemi for the main course & tea with saffron cake for dessert, everything was so delicious & tasted homemade.
This cafe is wonderful from start to finish. This is comfort food with no ego, just excellent cooking with warm & friendly service. I wish I lived here so I could come back weekly - uh, SO GOOD! I had the special, which was a chicken dish in a nearly black sauce over saffron rice - don't know what it was called. I also had the ice in heaven drink & a saffron cake, of course with tea after.
