wonderful owner, very welcoming & warm. They have multiples vegetarian options for meals. Very filling. The labneh was delicious & enhanced the flavour so much. The persian fog was a bit subtle in flavour for my taste, but it was made with a lot of love. The place has a lot of board games available for people to enjoy, & they also offer alcoholic drinks too. i think it would be a cute date spot. Have yet to try their desserts but they look delicious so i will definitely come back!
I don't usually write reviews, but I felt this experience needed to be shared. I came to meet friends who had already been told that outside food wasn't allowed. We respected the rule, & every single person in the group ordered something, drinks, cakes, or both.
Despite that, we felt watched the entire time. The owner's reaction to a small piece of baklava in a tupperware created an extremely uncomfortable atmosphere that overshadowed the fact that we were paying customers. The constant angry staring from behind the counter made us feel unwelcome rather than appreciated.
We ended up leaving early & continuing our meetup elsewhere. Unfortunately, this isn't a place I plan to return to.
We were a big group. Everyone ordered either coffee or type of dessert of both. One friend had a small Tupperware of homemade baklava. When she invited us to take one small piece of baklava each, they come saying we are not allowed to eat anything not from their place!! Even that we all already ordered from their place!!
We didn't bring a big dessert like a big cake or something & we didn't request any empty plates or utensils from them!! The friend just invited us to take a small piece of baklava each by hand!
Greedy! I will not come back!
gâteau au pistache etait magnifique 🥹j'ai passé un moment avec ma gang ici
This place has a really great atmosphere if you like Persian culture. The Music, decoration & the smell in the air, took me right back to my country.
We tried Halim Bademjan, followed by two Persian tea, & a super delicious Baklava Cake, that I think was the best part of the our evening. It was so good that we bought two more to take home & eat later.
The owners are super warm & kind.
Totally Recommended
Food is absolutely incredible & authentic, & the owner is incredibly kind with customers. Will be back soon to try other dishes from the menu!
Delightful! The pistachio cake is a touch pricey, but it does taste divine. Persian latte is so pretty & creamy, not too sweet. Walnut Baklava is nice!
We had a wonderful experience at this Iranian café-restaurant. We've been there several times & tried different dishes, including the Dizi (Abgoosht), Baghali Polo with lamb shank, & Fesenjan, & every single dish was absolutely delicious. The food tastes authentic & is clearly prepared with great care & quality ingredients.
The atmosphere is beautiful & very warm, with a charming Persian style that makes the place feel special & welcoming. The service is also excellent-the staff regularly checks in to make sure everything is perfect, which makes you feel very well taken care of.
We also tried their cakes, & they were outstanding. The desserts were fresh, beautifully presented, & truly delicious.
Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Iranian food in a lovely & cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be coming back again!
The prices are too expensive compared to other Iranian cafes. For example a simple Americano Coffee with no sugar & no milk costs 4.99 before tax!!
This price usually is a cost of Late.
The space is good but the prices are too high!
A calm, warm space with warm, elegant Iranian design that feels completely contemporary.
It's the kind of place where time slows down where sitting with friends or family, sipping your favorite drink, actually feels nourishing.
& if you're lucky enough to catch their pumpkin cake, pistachio cake, or saffron cake… don't think twice.
Fresh, comforting, & quietly unforgettable.
The food carries the soul of Northern Iran from rich Fesenjoon to comforting Baghali Ghatogh or smoky Mirza Ghassemi.
Simple, honest flavors that feel like home.
A place to relax, recharge, & leave a little happier than you arrived.
Just an exceptional experience. We ordered the Baklava Latte, Persian Latte & Saffron Cake each item was distinctly wonderful unlike anything we've ever had before. Must visit if you are in Montreal.
Besides the absolutely delicious food & amazing Persian Latte, this is a place where my soul feels at peace. So nice & cozy, with a gentle welcoming energy. You can feel it in everything around you - in the decor, in the music, in the food. Such warm & lovely people. I would definitely miss this place when my trip to Montreal is over 💔
Nous sommes passés par hasard hier & nous avons bien fait de nous arrêter. Quelle belle expérience ! Merci pour ce voyage.
