Review Summary

Café Parfums de Perse is widely regarded as a cozy and authentic destination in Montreal that transports visitors to Iran through its traditional decor, music, and generous hospitality. Many patrons praise the homemade quality of the food, highlighting standout dishes like the Mirza Ghassemi, kebabs, and various stews, often complemented by unique beverages like the Persian latte and fragrant teas. The establishment is frequently described as a warm, family-run space perfect for relaxing, studying, or enjoying time with friends over board games and exceptional desserts like pistachio and saffron cakes. While most experiences are characterized by welcoming service and high-quality ingredients, some diners have noted concerns regarding higher price points, occasional inconsistency in service speed, or mixed impressions of specific menu items, yet the overall consensus remains highly positive for those seeking a genuine cultural experience.

Suoer cozy spot with delicious food! The owner was very welcoming & gave us great recommendations for food & side dish pairings. I had the persian fog which was deliciously aromatic. The fesenjan was tender & the pomegranate sauce tangy & delicious! We also ordered ghormeh sabzi, & it was tangy & savoury in the best way. The two dishes with generous helpings of saffron rice & a creamy side of yoghurt made for a amazing meal. I look forwards to coming back the next time I'm in Montreal.

Just an exceptional experience. We ordered the Baklava Latte, Persian Latte & Saffron Cake each item was distinctly wonderful unlike anything we've ever had before. Must visit if you are in Montreal.

A calm, warm space with warm, elegant Iranian design that feels completely contemporary.
It's the kind of place where time slows down where sitting with friends or family, sipping your favorite drink, actually feels nourishing.
& if you're lucky enough to catch their pumpkin cake, pistachio cake, or saffron cake… don't think twice.
Fresh, comforting, & quietly unforgettable.
The food carries the soul of Northern Iran from rich Fesenjoon to comforting Baghali Ghatogh or smoky Mirza Ghassemi.
Simple, honest flavors that feel like home.
A place to relax, recharge, & leave a little happier than you arrived.

Tried the pistachio & saffron ice cream yesterday. Returned today to try their famous pistachio cake. Exceptional, exceptional flavours. The pistachio cake feels like biting into a pistachio cloud covered in a creamy paste that tastes like a pistachio version of Nutella. Not too sweet. Not too moist or too dry. Just perfect. Price is reasonable so easy to buy a second piece :)
