The pistachio cake is a touch pricey, but it does taste divine. Persian latte is so pretty & creamy, not too sweet. Walnut Baklava is nice!
We had a wonderful experience at this Iranian café-restaurant. We've been there several times & tried different dishes, including the Dizi (Abgoosht), Baghali Polo with lamb shank, & Fesenjan, & every single dish was absolutely delicious. The food tastes authentic & is clearly prepared with great care & quality ingredients.
The atmosphere is beautiful & very warm, with a charming Persian style that makes the place feel special & welcoming. The service is also excellent-the staff regularly checks in to make sure everything is perfect, which makes you feel very well taken care of.
We also tried their cakes, & they were outstanding. The desserts were fresh, beautifully presented, & truly delicious.
Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Iranian food in a lovely & cozy atmosphere. We'll definitely be coming back again!
Just an exceptional experience. We ordered the Baklava Latte, Persian Latte & Saffron Cake each item was distinctly wonderful unlike anything we've ever had before. Must visit if you are in Montreal.
A calm, warm space with warm, elegant Iranian design that feels completely contemporary.
It's the kind of place where time slows down where sitting with friends or family, sipping your favorite drink, actually feels nourishing.
& if you're lucky enough to catch their pumpkin cake, pistachio cake, or saffron cake… don't think twice.
Fresh, comforting, & quietly unforgettable.
The food carries the soul of Northern Iran from rich Fesenjoon to comforting Baghali Ghatogh or smoky Mirza Ghassemi.
Simple, honest flavors that feel like home.
A place to relax, recharge, & leave a little happier than you arrived.
Lovely & cozy place to have a coffee, the decor is Instagram worty! I had a coffee(I asked the owner's favorite coffee) & a cake(basboussa) everything was fresh & so delicious! & the owners are really kind. There is even some board & card game if you come with friends. Will definetly go back!
I came for dessert & wasn't disappointed. I love the genuine hospitality by both the owner & the staff. I was suggested the pistachio cake & Persian tea. It was delicious!
Had a great time with my mom here! Cute cafe with games & amazing cake & tea
It is pricy yes. But you gotta try it once. Pistachio cake & akhte frozen is AMAZING! Owner is very friendly & we loved their decoration too
Tried the pistachio & saffron ice cream yesterday. Returned today to try their famous pistachio cake. Exceptional, exceptional flavours. The pistachio cake feels like biting into a pistachio cloud covered in a creamy paste that tastes like a pistachio version of Nutella. Not too sweet. Not too moist or too dry. Just perfect. Price is reasonable so easy to buy a second piece :)
Amazing experience! Authentic Persian food, heavenly cakes, real Persian tea, & ice cream. The warm, family-like atmosphere makes you feel right at home. One of my best dining experiences! 🌿🍰☕🍦
Lovely atmosphere, the soft drink(Yakh dar behesht) , Persian ice cream is heaven😋highly recommended!I also loved the chicken & barberry kuku sandwich, & you should try the saffron cake which is moist & delicious. Don't forget about the Persian breakfast! 🍳 🧋 I tried Haleem from different persian restaurant in Montreal & I can defenitly say that Haleem here was made superrrr good & tasty! (Not sour). Ghormeh sabzi was perfectly made too & it was so delicious! Everything is homemade! Highly recommended!
Really nice & well decorated cafe. Mirza ghasemi & koluche fooman were tasty 🤤 but I didn't like saffron cake. It had a somewhat watery texture & wasn't as firm as I expected. The staff were kind & nice but the service was a bit slow.
This is a beautiful gem. The owners are amazing couple with friendly personalities. We love the baklava cake & the Persian latte, Baklava latte was to die for. Love it 😍 Give this place a try & it will not disappoint.
The best customer service by the owners themselves. Bilingual (EN/FR) service with a big smile! Amazing tea & delicate & heavenly Persian cake!
My husband & I came here two nights in a row on a recent weekend trip to Montreal. The food is delicious (especially the saffron cake!) & everyone who works here is so kind & welcoming. I definitely plan to come back the next time I'm in town.
What a wonderful place. The staff are wonderful & the tea & cake was delicious!
Extremely warm welcome. Great service. First time trying Persian food & it was so good. Must try coconut cake, the tea & the persian latte. The gheyme was good too. But my favorite was the tea with cake. Much love to the amazing owners for the great experience❤?❤?
I recently visited Parfums de Perse with my Québécois friend, who has been learning Persian & was excited to practice with the staff. When he spoke Persian, the waitress was very impressed & kind to him, which was nice to see. However, what followed left me quite uncomfortable. In Persian, she jokingly told me,'Bravo for teaching him Persian, I hope we can destroy their language.' She repeated it twice, & even the cashier later made a similar comment. I was genuinely surprised-why would we talk about'destroying' the language of the country we live in? Language is about connection & respect, & I can't imagine how my friend would have felt if he had understood their remarks.
As for the food, I ordered Pan kebab, which was decent, & Ash, which was delicious. We also had two cakes & two lattes, both of which were very good. However, another odd experience happened with the bill. During our meal, the waitress insisted we try garlic pickles, & later, after we had finished our dessert, she enthusiastically offered us another type of cake: Ghotab, saying it was fresh & delicious. Her tone & warmth made it seem like a complimentary treat, so we were surprised to find everything-including the pickles & the extra cake-added to the bill. It wasn't about the $7 extra, but the way it was done left us feeling a bit manipulated.
Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the experience was mixed. While the staff was extremely friendly, the comments about language were inappropriate, & the way additional items were added to the bill felt misleading. I hope this was just a misunderstanding, but I believe a more transparent & respectful approach would make the experience better for everyone.
Très belle découverte! Les plats sont excellents & copieux. Les desserts sont très gourmands. Mention spéciale pour le baklava cake, un petit nuage plein de saveurs, L'ambiance est très chaleureuse. Hâte d'y retourner! En : Great discovery! The dishes are excellent & generous. The desserts are very decadent. Special mention for the baklava cake, a little cloud full of flavors.
