Unfortunately, it was nothing to rave about. Staff was very friendly, our waiter was a bit too busy & didn't ask us once how the food was. I would have liked to give him the feedback that the octopus had a very unpleasant texture, almost powdery. We order octopus often & are used to rubbery texture when overcooked but this was a very unpleasant strange texture. We also ordered the stuffed mushroom which our waiter had recommended & the taste was so blah, dry, we only ate 2 of the 4 mushrooms. The best dish was the foccacia & the broccoli with Spätzle. We expected more for the price of the dishes

Dans l'ensemble, notre expérience était bien à Cadet. Le service & la nourriture était bien. J'aimerais bien que mon français aurait été mieux pendant mon visite, mais je devrais être capable de comprendre la serveuse dans le bruit la prochaine fois que je visite Montréal. Merci pour le dîner!

Very good food. I would avoid ordering the Octopus as it was pretty slimy no texture to the dish. Sauce was gooey, octopus was soft but I wish it was grilled crispier as the dish felt like I was eating mush. The tuna, scallop, focaccia & duck breast were the highlights of the dinner.
