Was craving babka & this bakery was surprisingly still open in the evening. We got the babka loaf, a chocolate cheesecake muffin, & a rectangular cheesecake piece in the fridge section. The babka was pretty good, although I personally prefer the fragrance of the Montreal Kosher Bakery's one. The other desserts were just basic, mostly only tasting sweet. Service was just ok, employees were speaking Spanish to each other & not that friendly.
The bakery itself is in a very bright & modern looking space.
This is by far our favourite bakery in Montreal. It was an awesome experience bringing Chris'The Babka King' in for some delicious treats. We tried a lot of different desserts. The one that is our absolute favourite is the Chocolate Russian Babka.
My valise is full of desserts. Worth flying to Montreal just to come here.Where else can you get a little pastry for $.75 that is super fresh & delicious.
Staff are always friendly & willing to explain the different desserts & pastries they sell. It is kosher if anyone is wondering.
This place has the most delicious 🤤 desserts if I have the opportunity to go again definitely 💯 I'll go. It's a must to visit & try the variety of desserts that they have.
