I have been coming here for years & the quality is consistently excellent. The crust on the sourdough is perfectly crisp every time & the interior is always soft & airy. It is rare to find a place that puts this much care into their baking process. I usually grab a few croissants for the office & they disappear within minutes because everyone loves them so much. The service is friendly even when the line is out the door on a busy Saturday morning.

Decent spot for a quick bite in the neighborhood. I stopped by for a baguette & ended up picking up some pastries as well. The staff is quite efficient & keeps the queue moving which I appreciate during my lunch break. The shop smells absolutely heavenly the moment you step through the doors. I will definitely be back to try more of their selection because everything in the display case looked very fresh & well prepared.

Honestly one of the best bakeries in this part of town. You can tell the ingredients are high quality just by the taste & the texture of the bread. I am a bit picky about my pastries but the ones here hit the mark every single time. It is a bit of a walk from the metro station but it is worth the effort for the quality you get. The atmosphere is cozy & welcoming which makes it a nice place to visit on a weekend morning.

The service here is hit or miss depending on how busy they are but the products are undeniably good. I usually stick to the basics like the rye bread & the plain croissants because they are always done right. It is clear that they take pride in their craft & do not cut corners with their recipes. Prices are reasonable for what you get & the portion sizes are fair. A solid choice if you want to support a local business that clearly knows what they are doing.

Their mini chocolate bobkas are incredible & their cream filled doughnuts are insane they moved to a new location bigger & brighte

There are so many options to choose from! I always get a bit of everything from the cookies, to the cheese crown & the chocolate babkas. Everything is fresh & so delicious. The babkas are rich & sweet! One is enough for me! I haven't found any other bakery that makes babkas as good as Cheskie.

If you're from out of town (as we are) you absolutely must see this place & load up on exceptional danish,'chocolate russians', babka, cheese crowns, croissants, hamantashen & everything else. On every visit!

& if you're a Montrealer you must do the same!!
