Had to throw out what I bought immediately without eating it because the unhygienic employee handled both the food & my cash with bare dirty hands without any washing. Unfortunately I am now too icked out to ever go back. Food handling is unsafe.
Everything about this place is amazing. You can't go wrong with anything. Staff is super friendly & welcoming! Would totally recommend their chocolate babka & the cheese danishes!

As a tourist, I heard this Jewish bakery is a staple in Montreal. There is definitely a lot of different options to choose from & quite frankly I wish I knew what to get. Thankfully, I saw some reviews that recommended the cheese crown & chocolate rugelach which were indeed good.
The BEST bakery in Montreal, maybe even Canada! Visit Cheskie's every time we visit from Toronto, their babka is so insanely good never had anything like it. Try the Russian babka if you're a fan of chocolate, it's a game changer!

Awesome bakery with sooo many delicious treats to choose from! There was a big lineup when I went but it's definitely worth the wait! I've been going there for a few years now & will probably be back very soon 🩷
