Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.

Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.

Bivouac is where guests can get away from the chaos of city life to explore, share and enjoy the quintessence of our nature, all during a meal.

Located in the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on the 6th floor of Complexe Desjardins.
In summer, the Bivouac Terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and is perfectly located to enjoy the lively Place des Festivals. In winter, the Refuges du Bivouac offer to set up a camp for an evening under a beautifully decorated and heated dome that can accommodate up to 10 people, in the heart of the entertainment district.

Superbe resto avec une vue a couper le souffle, bouffe & ambiance numero 1 j'ai adoré mon expérience je le recommande fortement que ce sois pour un petit souper en amoureux ou entre amis juste woww & un gros merci a cath & son équipe pour son accueil & service de feu c'est sur & certain que nous allons nous revoir très bientôt !!

Excellent service. Merci à Catherine pour toutes les petites attentions qui font la différence. J'ai adoré le menu stylé boréal qui nous propose beaucoup d'aliments du Québec. La vue est incroyable & l'ambiance l'est aussi. Nous avons apprécié la présence du DJ.

Une terrasse magnifique avec vue sur l'esplanade de la Place des Arts à découvrir. Une ambiance estivale dans un décor très tendance avec une équipe accueillante & chaleureuse! Merci particulièrement à Catherine Caron pour le bon service qu'elle déploie avec son équipe!

Great drinks, food, & atmosphere. Highly recommend their signature le Festival cocktail. One point of improvement is music choice, getting a curated playlist to accompany the great terasse vibes will be so much better than playing radio pop music. Overall great experience though, staff service was great.
