Downtown Montreal is home to a brand new occupant, and we’re here to have a good time. A social lounge, an artisan bar and a modern bistro, Bivouac provides an urban and boreal gastronomic experience to all who pass through its doors.
Here, the objective is simple: to introduce guests to a whole new world of tastes and sensations. Taking advantage of the best that the Quebec region and its artisans have to offer.
Bivouac is where guests can get away from the chaos of city life to explore, share and enjoy the quintessence of our nature, all during a meal.

Went here before a show at Place des Arts & honestly blown away. The boreal Quebec concept is so well done, the decor is stunning & the food is next level. Foie gras, fresh bread with three butters, great wine list & service that actually makes you feel taken care of. Way better than any hotel restaurant has any right to be.
Nous y sommes allées pour le 24 décembre
Belle décoration, belle ambiance : chaleureuse & douce
Bon service
Absolutely fantastic dinner. Staff is amazing & food was also amazing. The oysters were fresh, the appetizers & main dishes were very good (kudos to the octopus), the dessert was delightful. Wine was very good. They brought us fresh bread during our meal which was great & rare these days. The decor is also gorgeous.
This is a hidden gem in Montreal that a lot of people don't know about unless they are staying at this hotel.
Fantastic food, beautiful presentation, very attentive waitstaff, excellent ambience & decor. Common allergens are clearly marked on the menu.
On the pricier side but well worth it.
Best option in the area for a reservation if you're attending an event at Place des Arts!
Cuisine originale, bien présentée, bien servie a découvrir.
The Decor & The Ambiance were amazing, it really fits the area. Had a tiny problem with our table at first , but the issue was resolved quickly pretty much, thanks to the receptionist. The whole team were very attentive to detail , which we greatly appreciated. The Food was also on point, nothing bad to say in this sector. Our Server, Jason, was absolute wonder, to you dear friend, once again , you were absolutely great . To the Bivouac Team , you all were! Looking forward to another dinner! Thank you.
