Ben & Florentine is described as a dependable brunch spot with fresh, flavorful dishes, a wide range of options, and generous portions at reasonable prices. The service is frequently praised as attentive and friendly, with quick seating on busy mornings though peak times can bring slower service when the restaurant is crowded. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a good place to meet friends for brunch, with a focus on quality smoothies, fresh fruit, and well prepared classics like crepes, omelets, and eggs Benedict. While some menu items may be unavailable at times and waits can be longer during peak hours, the overall experience remains satisfying and dependable, with consistently strong food quality and value.
One of my favorite breakfast spots downtown! I always go for the classic breakfast & it's consistently great. The menu offers lots of choices & the food is always fresh & tasty. Perfect place to meet friends & enjoy a relaxed brunch, whether on weekdays or weekends.
It's a good place to eat a well served breakfast or brunch for an affordable price. Not too noisy, relatively fast service, clean & very well located in downtown.
We had a quick brunch at this spot, There's really nothing too special, but it definitely did the job! The staff were super friendly, which made the experience better. The vibe was a bit meh, but overall it was fine. We left satisfied & full, so it's definitely worth your time & money if you're nearby.
We had a great breakfast (or brunch) here! The service was friendly & attentive, & the atmosphere was warm & welcoming. The taters were especially delicious - not sure what seasoning you use, but they were a standout. Portion sizes were just right, prices were very reasonable, & there's such a wide selection on the menu. All around, a great dining experience - we'll definitely be back!
Went for brunch & got some eggs Benedict with avocado. They were really good but one was a little overcooked. Other than that it was a really good brunch place! Really fast service too.
This was our second time coming here for brunch. The food was delicious, visually attractive & colorful. Our server was polite & courteous. The only negative was that although there were a good number of empty (but not cleared off) tables, we were kept standing by the entrance, waiting to be seated for about twenty minutes without even a welcoming greeting. It was obvious that they were very short-staffed today, since we didn't have any issues with prompt service on our earlier visit.
honestly, best brunch place in the city by FAAAARR! the service is amazing, portions are very generous, free unlimited coffee (that tastes divine), & the list goes on. don't let me get started on the service ! amazing servers with great vibes. love that place. it's my boyfriend & i's go to !
Fantastic selection of brunch items, drinks, & other treats. Stopped by here while we waited for our train boarding time to hit. Love that the benny came with a side of fruit salad, really helped balance everything out. Coffee did taste a little watery but I came here for the food not the coffee. Everything was reasonably priced, & the wait staff was very attentive.
I often cant decide between sweet & savory breakfast items, & here you dont need to. Its nice to get a sweet crepe, toast, eggs, bacon/sausage, etc. all in one order, but just make sure you are hungry! The poached egg on the eggs benedict was unfortunately cold, like it was prepared in advance & saved until serving. The other eggs were good, as were the potatoes & meats. Waffle was standard. Coffee & tea are included with of if the menu items. The crepes are quite thick here-personally I prefer them thinner. Overall I would recommend B&F for breakfast & brunch, especially with the big portion sizes & variety within orders

It's a very nice small brunch restaurant with something for everyone. It has great vegetarian options. The service is excellent at least the madam that was our server was above & beyond. So nice.
Visited during weekday morning. It was quiet & waitress was very attentive. Foods are very good value & the quality has exceeded my expectation for a typical franchise brunch place! Egg yolks on egg benedicts were HUGE (never seen one this big in the US 😂). Food didn't have too much seasoning & I liked it.
This is the best place for a delicious breakfast/brunch for a great price. There are so many wonderful options to choose from. & it's located close to the QE Fairmont we stayed at. The waitress for our first visit was Marie, this lady is amazing, so efficient, so friendly, does everything with a smile! The best I've ever seen!! This place is extremely busy & for good reason, we went around 11:30am & got seated within a couple of minutes but the waitresses are busy so it may take a bit to get your food/bill but well worth it. We went back the next day & Jen was really good as well. Definitely eat here!
This was our last restaurant when we were in Montreal & it was a brunch place right before we headed out on a train to Quebec. The food was really good & the service was really attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed the coffee as well as the breakfast & I very much enjoyed putting authentic maple syrup all over my scramble Skillet & I also enjoyed speaking French with the waiter. That was cool
