One of my favorite breakfast spots downtown! I always go for the classic breakfast & it's consistently great. The menu offers lots of choices & the food is always fresh & tasty. Perfect place to meet friends & enjoy a relaxed brunch, whether on weekdays or weekends.
It's a good place to eat a well served breakfast or brunch for an affordable price. Not too noisy, relatively fast service, clean & very well located in downtown.

Friendly staff made sure our group of 14 was treated like kings ! Our friends from Belgium loved the food to the point that they're thinking about importing the concept to Europe. We were there on the morning of Dec 31 & back the next day. A fabulous breakfast experience!
It's a good place for before work breakfast right in the middle of Montreal downtown. However, need to make time for it. It's in no means, a quick breakfast. The reason is due to its convenient location & its popularity. It gets crowded pretty fast & due to staffing shortage, the speed of service suffers. In addition, forget about driving the due to the scarcity of parking places in the neighbourhood.
We had a great breakfast (or brunch) here! The service was friendly & attentive, & the atmosphere was warm & welcoming. The taters were especially delicious - not sure what seasoning you use, but they were a standout. Portion sizes were just right, prices were very reasonable, & there's such a wide selection on the menu. All around, a great dining experience - we'll definitely be back!

Great place for breakfast. Every time I'm in Montreal I go to this place for breakfast. I have. Ever had a bad meal. The staff are great & the service is super fast.
Nice place to have breakfast & more. There are plenty of options. The food was tasty, & the service was great. We tried their version of poutine, crepes, & hot chocolate.

Very busy breakfast spot; offering discounted breakfast specials before 8:30am. The service was nice, pleasant & speedy. Ordered eggs with crispy bacons. The potatoes were not as crunchy as other branches. The dining environment is smoky. It's nice to have a B & F in downtown that opens early.
I often cant decide between sweet & savory breakfast items, & here you dont need to. Its nice to get a sweet crepe, toast, eggs, bacon/sausage, etc. all in one order, but just make sure you are hungry! The poached egg on the eggs benedict was unfortunately cold, like it was prepared in advance & saved until serving. The other eggs were good, as were the potatoes & meats. Waffle was standard. Coffee & tea are included with of if the menu items. The crepes are quite thick here-personally I prefer them thinner. Overall I would recommend B&F for breakfast & brunch, especially with the big portion sizes & variety within orders
Has to be the best breakfast place I have ever eaten at. Food was amazing, good portion size & price was reasonable for what we had. The food was high quality. Service: No complaints, server did a good job & had no issues. Atmosphere, restaurant was elegant, I really appreciate when they have an open kitchen as well to be able to see the food prepared.

Dear Ben & Florentine, It's no secret I love my breakfast & my definite go to place is your outlet on Mansfield. I came back on Sunday Oct 6th & it is always wonderful. Every time I go, I get the very best service & quality breakfast. Today, I will tell you about a very special waitress that really works very hard & is an ambassador of your brand. She is an inspiration, one of those people you always want breakfast from. Marie-Pier is extremely devoted to you & her clients & she has always treated me like gold, been extremely attentive & caring. She is one of those waitresses every other restaurant wished they had. Not only does she know her menu inside & out, she really gives personalized quality service not found elsewhere. She is very careful with your brand & is alert in her entourage. She assists other waitresses, makes sure things run smoothly. It's not just about my service but everyone else. She gives so much to Ben & Florentine & absolutely loves her work with you, I feel it each time. She's the waitress that has it all, beautiful inside & out, giving her best service with very high professional standards.Attentive & very very hard working. She has served me for years & each time, i got more than breakfast, I got a welcome home experience. You ought to be very proud of her & her contribution. I don't know if you have an employee incentive program but I am compelled to write as i am in awe each time Marie-Pier gives me her service. She deserves a nice bonus, a certificate or something like that. She is worthy of any recognition you can give her as for jenny( both are out of this world).
Great place for an easy breakfast. Menu is vast. We avoided the fried food & went with the healthy options. Oats were great with good serving of fruit & granola was also big. Good to the brown sugar & cream on the side for the oats & not in there already. We don't drink coffee at all - we were asked 3 times in the first 5 minutes by 3 different people if we wanted coffee. Might sound annoying to some, but it's good attention to the customer.
This is the best place for a delicious breakfast/brunch for a great price. There are so many wonderful options to choose from. & it's located close to the QE Fairmont we stayed at. The waitress for our first visit was Marie, this lady is amazing, so efficient, so friendly, does everything with a smile! The best I've ever seen!! This place is extremely busy & for good reason, we went around 11:30am & got seated within a couple of minutes but the waitresses are busy so it may take a bit to get your food/bill but well worth it. We went back the next day & Jen was really good as well. Definitely eat here!
Terrific choice for any time of day with diverse & diet friendly choices for balanced breakfasts. Excelente service & quality. Try the ruby red smoothies.
