Went to this one & like always had the full rack of baby back ribs.
My mom had a flank steak asian salad. Can't go wrong ! My waiter has been there a long time & very polite & professional. Thanks to all the staff
2 ieme expérience au baton rouge,première fois à laval,une catastrophe,6 ans plus tard des amis nous invites à celui de st sauveur,j accepte me disant vue que c est à st sauveur un coin hupper ça devrait être mieux,début entré calmar,très bon,par chance $19.suivi salade cesar qui était bien,suivi de mon repas burger baton rouge à $22.j essai de le manger le pain à est decompose, j ai montrer cela au serveur très gentil en passant,m a suggéré de changer le pain,je lui ai dit non je vais m arrangerdonc je me suis ramasser avec une boulette avec aucun goût sec couper avec mon couteau,lorsque il passé pour prendre l assiette je lui ai dit c est une catastrophe,je ne l ai pas tout mangé je n en recommanderais jamais & je n irai plus chez baton rouge peu importe où,il y a des resto tellement mieux
The table decided to go for their signature dish, chicken & ribs. The group has been a fan of the Baton Rouge ribs for some time & have orders this a while back so we believed this to be a safe bet. Lets see… Ribs: sauce is still delicious though not plentiful & should include a small dipping sauce with the dish. The meat is not as tender & soft as the past melt of the bones quality used to be. The size & portion of the ribs have dramatically been reduced & was a let down. Chicken. Once it used to be a significant sized portion of chicken, it's now a small thin portion of chicken that would likely cost about $1.50 at a typical grocery store. It's grilled & then sauced like the ribs. Its texture was not good as it was stringy & overdone. Coleslaw: the recipe has changed & is a big let down. The old version was creamy & filled with more vegetables & herbs. This was dry, small portion, & lacked the lovely seasoning they once delivered. Baked potato: the potato was supposed to come with the fresh sour cream, crisp fresh bacon bits, chives & topped with cheddar cheese. What we received was a room temperature dried out potato with barely any sour cream that had the texture of cream cheese. The cheddar cheese was gratuitous & hard - not cheesy at all. It would appear that the potato's are pre cooked & then stuffed & placed in a fridge & then microwave heated when ordered. This I can do at home & make better. If a restaurant can't provide fresh quality food (at these prices) don't sell me BS, it's an insult. Salad: for $4.00 extra (instead of a side) their salad was ordered. This was not their usual hearty salad with multiple vegetable. This was predominantly spinach leaves & a little romain & gratuitous little veg added. Now worth ordering again. Notes: all food came room temperature & served at the same time. There was no time to have salad & relax. As all food came at once & within about 5 to 7 minutes from placing the order one would expect it to be hot & fresh - not the case. We had to ask the (amazing) server to send back. We received our order reheated again with another thin layer of sauce but the baked potato still was as horrible as before. The potato was set aside & the server brought a serving of thin-cut fries with a side of ketchup & mayonnaise. The fries were obviously frozen, cooked well & not great but lacking any flavour. Overall I find that there are much better restaurant s to eat at considering the pricing of the average quality products being served. The only real thing going on here are their ribs as there are few restaurants specializing in ribs. After eating a numerous Baton Rouge locations I have concluded that their steak & roast beef are of average quality, too much fat content, & for the price you can get better quality elsewhere. Their burgers are actually very good & even better if eaten at the bar with the bar menu. Their chicken fingers are great, though too much breading & the amount of chicken is actually small. Bottom line; for any Baton Rouge location, stick to the (over priced) ribs & you should be happy. This is a popular establishment in the Quebec & Ontario markets & many people enjoy their offerings as each location can vary its offerings. Going here was not as exciting as it used to be & with so many competitors to eat at I feel BR to be average to below average food quality & freshness etc. you decide but please stay away from their awesomely described baked potatoes as it's a let down. Also remind your server to make sure food is hot & to serve the salads before the main meal; unless you like it with your meal.
The salad was incredibly fresh & tasty-definitely the highlight of the meal! Unfortunately, the rib sandwich was pretty average, & the meat lacked flavor. Decent experience overall, but I'd come back just for the salad & hamburgers (tried then previously)
Super service & great spot. Huge dining room should accommodate many. Food was hit & miss. Diable Burger was good, Santa Fe salad was fine. Louisiana Chicken salad was a miss. Nice terrace.
Je n'aime pas avoir de commentaire negatif mais comment dire... apres avoir recu notre plat & commencé a manger mon mari a dit ne plus vouloir revenir chez Baton Rouge ! Ne mettez pas sur votre menu du midi une assiette qui contient 4 petites côtes levées (mêmes pas charnues) & secs en plus, Ce n'est pas un repas, le 3/4 de l'assiette etait des frites & de la salade de chou ! au moins après le repas il m'a dit que les miennes etaient meilleures 😀
Salade thai goût excellent, bavette fondante. Le seul bémol c'est au niveau des alcools, vraiment très décevant comparativement au Madisson.
The Ceasar salad was awful they served it to us as if we were cattle large leafs no preparation few ...what seemed to be bacon bits staff was not knowledgeable baton rouge used to a top shelf restaurant for dining now just another cheap food restaurant definitely not worth the 135.00$ I dished out for two people

Nouvelle formule de salade Céasar, plus sucrée & contenant de gros morceaux d'échalotte un peu moins appréciée...

En amis 4 pers. Services bon au début, assiette poitrine/ côtes levées à 33$ ne vaut pas ce prix poitrine sec & salade de chou liquide. Assiette repas salade poulet à déconseillé . Gâteau au fromage vieux , nous n'y retournerons pas .
Malheureusement ce ne fut pas du tout une soirée au delà de nos attentes... la nourriture était froide, les portions petites & même la fameuse salade de choux était passé date avec une drôle de couleur jaunâtre... heureusement que nous avons eu un bon serveur qui répondait à nos besoins avant même qu'on le lui demande & qui était sympathique ça nous a laissé un goût moins amer....
Slow service. We clearly demanded our salad at the same time as the main meal & it arrived first. They also produced the wrong order for my colleague. I had to start eating before the kitchen arrived with his right order.
No menus offered. They assume everybody has telephones to figure out how to upload digital menus in their phones. Would not recommend this restaurant.
Nous avons eu un excellent service..mais pour ce qui est des plats vraiment moyen pour le prix..nous avons mangé des steaks très bons mais accompagnés de frites beaucoup trop salées & salade de choux au goût fade.
Les brownies décadents ne goûtaient pas le chocolat & étaient remplis de noix.
Repas très décevant pour le prix !
Nous n'y retournerons plus.
ce resfaurant rn plein coeur dune belle ville comme saint-sauveur qui est tees tourristique cetais desasterux jai commamder un sandwich cote de boeuf au jus & jai recu dans mon assiette un pain sec couper en deux avc du boeuf plein de gras & ca coutait 18$ quand jpeux avoir un sandwich garnie a mon gout chez subway a 5$ & cetait pas de tres bonne qualité le boeuf alora le s?rveur qui lui etait gentil & poli ma changer mon assiete sans discuter on sest faite pogner par un orage nous etions sur la terrasse & nous sommes rentrer a linterieur & nous sommes rester 7 minutes debout avc nos assiettes lhotesse est venu nous voir pour nous dire ben assoyez vous au bar le resto est complettt heuuuuu les gens dans la porte avait juste a attendre on netaient prioritaire groa manque de service a clientele ... ensuite je me suis faite aspeger de biere car jetais devant les pistons a biere la patate qur ma conjointe avait commander etait sec & pas garnie ...la seule chose quon na bien aimer c la cote levee la salade & le virgin caesar ce restaurant est peu recommandable en tk celui de saint sau cetait la derniere fois jy allait
