Just went to this beautiful restaurant with friends & had the best experience. Our server was amazing, really attentive, as we're all our questions & remember all our orders without writing one thing down. The owner of the place was also there tonight & came to check in with us to see how the meal was. Beyond the service the food was some of the best I've ever tried the cassava chips are a must try & the sandwiches were so flavourful. We will absolutely be coming here again & can't wait to eat more of the delicious food. This is a must try ! The food was so good we even forgot to take a photo.
La Arepera is a true gem in Montreal. The service is impeccable, with friendly & attentive staff. The Venezuelan food is simply outstanding-authentic flavors & top-notch quality. Every bite feels like a trip to Venezuela. Highly recommended!

Been close to a decade since I first wrote a 5 star review on TripAdvisor upon our first visit & this time I wanted to share it on Google. We visit this place annually (other than lockdown year) from out of town. A proper gluten free restaurant. Over these years since being introduced to Areparas we've tried other places to compare, in different cities & countries. We also noticed over the years some menu changed here, I really miss the Crackling Arepera but the Pork Belly is my replacement & amazing. The point of this updated review a decade later is after over the years trying different Arepara places hands down this place is our benchmark! Each time we return & I take my first bite, I am instantly transported back to the wonderful memories & feelings upon tasting the food here like the first time. I am reminded why they are our benchmark for their ingredient quality, taste, prep, portion, their 2 sauces & why we must continue to return to enjoy such great food at reasonable prices by this Arepera owner & the team. I really want as many people to experience it too!
This restaurant feels very alive with the decor & the vibrant people serving it. The food was tasty & a new flavor for me. The price felt a little high for what is served but I would still recommend it very much !
The arepas here are stacked & they have a variety from meat lovers to seafood lovers to vegans! Options for everyone. I ordered the tilapia one & a guava drink. Both good. The guava drink was so refreshing, a bit too sweet, should've asked for less sugar, but it was still good. The arepa, while not the best I've ever had, was also good & filling for just CAD$14. Great deal! Service was attentive & pro. Place was clean & orderly. Feedback would be for spicier salsa option & crispier, more buttery arepa.
Este para mi es la.mejor arepera en Montréal y quizás la menos publicitada. La califico de 5 puntos en todos los sentidos, atención, calidad de servicio y buen ambiente. Ni hablar de la calidad de sus platos y la relación con sus buenos precios. Visiten que no se van a arrepentir. Quizás el punto difícil es el estacionamiento, pero el estacionamiento es el punto álgido en cualquier visita dentro de Montréal.

Ótimo atendimento! Pedimos prato com tilápia e veio arroz, feijao preto, banana da terra fritas, queijo. A tilápia é desfiada e misturada a legumes e temperos diversos. Bom custo benefício.
Wonderful food spot in the Plateau! We ate here for the first time & enjoyed every bite. Had an arepera with meat, plantains, & feta & it was delicious!
Une belle découverte pour les personnes coeliaque avec un menu 100% SANS GLUTEN! La serveuse était très serviable & a très bien pu nous conseiller. Les frites de manioc étaient excellente & la sauce à l'avocat qui vient avec les arepas a été notre gros coup de coeu
