I ordered the ph? ??c bi?t (large), and it was outstanding from the first sip to the last bite. The broth is crystal clear, deeply aromatic, and perfectly balanced-rich without being heavy. The bowl was generously loaded with a variety of tender beef cuts, silky rice noodles, and topped with fresh onions, cilantro, and green onions. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and prepared with care. The large size is truly satisfying and great value for the price. Served piping hot with a fresh plate of basil and bean sprouts, the ph? arrived quickly despite the restaurant being busy. Service was efficient and professional, exactly what you want when you're craving real Vietnamese comfort food. If you're in Montreal's Chinatown and want authentic, no-frills, high-quality ph?, this is the place. The ph? ??c bi?t l?n here is a must-order. Highly recommended.

Fish is consistently top 3 in Montreal. Maki/nigiri/sashimi always solid. Ambiance and service have declined post pandemic. No sushi bar anymore significantly hurts the ambiance.

J'avais de grandes attentes pour La Quintessence, mais mon expérience de vendredi dernier a été profondément décevante. D'abord, la gestion des allergies et intolérances est inacceptable pour un restaurant de ce calibre. Aucune véritable alternative n'est proposée : on se contente de'dénuder' les plats, sans retravailler les recettes ni proposer des options adaptées. Pire encore, on vous demande de signer une décharge de responsabilité, ce qui donne l'impression que le problème vient du client plutôt que d'un manque d'adaptation du restaurant. Un établissement haut de gamme devrait être capable d'accommoder ses invités avec professionnalisme et créativité, pas se protéger juridiquement au lieu de faire son travail. Mais le pire reste l'odeur. Le problème de mouffette était flagrant dans la salle - une odeur persistante et très désagréable, complètement incompatible avec une expérience gastronomique, encore moins avec un restaurant étoilé. C'était tout simplement écoeurant. Tant que ce problème n'est pas réglé, je ne recommande pas cet endroit. À ce niveau de prix et de réputation, on s'attend à du respect, du soin et une expérience irréprochable. Ce n'était pas le cas.

Quelle belle découverte que Seb l'Artisan Culinaire. On a appris que le restaurant célèbre ses 20 ans cette année… et on se demande sincèrement comment on a pu passer à côté pendant si longtemps. Les plats sont créatifs, avec une fraîcheur et une qualité des produits qui se ressentent à chaque bouchée. Tout est réfléchi, équilibré, et exécuté avec beaucoup de maîtrise. Le service est irréprochable : une équipe soudée, professionnelle et chaleureuse. Un restaurant qui mérite largement sa réputation et sa longévité. Une adresse qu'on garde précieusement… et qu'on recommande sans hésiter.

Nous sommes des clients réguliers et chaque visite est un réel plaisir. L'équipe sur le plancher est exceptionnelle : attentionnée, respectueuse et profondément humaine. En tant que parents d'un garçon à besoins particuliers, se sentir accueillis avec autant de compréhension et de bienveillance fait toute la différence pour nous. La salle est chaleureuse et agréable, et les repas sont toujours frais, bien préparés et servis bien chauds. L'équipe de gestion peut être extrêmement fière de son personnel. Un endroit où l'on se sent bien et où l'on aime revenir.

The restaurant clearly has new owners and the food has gone downhill. Also majority of the recent positive reviews are posted by the new employees. None of the original waiters or waitresses are there anymore. The chicken was dry, the ribs were foul, the service was mediocre at best. Usually they would come and take your drink order first while you review the menu. Instead we sat for a good 20 minutes with no interaction and then he came'are you ready to order?' No greeting, no nothing. Very cold. They weren't rude but they weren't friendly either. Plus everyone who ate and left before us they just left the tables dirty. No one was coming around clearing the tables or anything. I had to keep asking for items you typically receive without asking. Like a bowl for the rib bones, towelettes, etc. It's unfortunate.

Third time I went to a tandoori grill restaurant with my family, but we went there and had Malai kofta . Within half an hour, my partner had a bad reaction. My son had an allergy in his mouth, his lips were swollen, and his mouth was swollen and irritated for one week . We went to the doctor he prescribed a medicine cost 165.00 not covered by RAMQ..May be they serve old food. Never again before own by Pakistany owner now. Own by Singh they messed up

Extremely disappointed. My wife, daughter, and I were on St-Hubert shopping for my daughter's wedding dress and decided to stop at this deli out of nostalgia, since I grew up in Villeray. Big mistake. My daughter and I ordered smoked meat, medium fat. What we got was dry, tasteless meat with hard edges on stale rye bread. It honestly tasted like it had been pre-packaged and reheated in a microwave. Completely unacceptable. My wife ordered a gyro pita and received what looked like a joke: a single thin slice of meat, more like a Philly steak than a gyro, not fresh at all, with barely any fillings. Quality has clearly fallen off a cliff. This place is living off its past reputation. We will never return.

This is hands down my favorite coffee shop. The coffee is consistently excellent-rich, smooth, and made with care. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or sitting down to relax. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and make you feel right at home. It's one of those places you keep coming back to-not just for the coffee, but for the overall vibe. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates great coffee and great service.

Vraiment un gros wow!! Je n'étais pas entrée dans un Bâton Rouge depuis près de 12 ans!! Ce soir nous sommes allée manger. Un dimanche nous nous étions dis que ça serait tranquille! Et non! Super belle ambiance dans le restaurant , le service était incroyable par notre serveur William et en plus la nourriture NON MAIS PARDON! Calamars frit qui fondaient dans la bouche , la sandwich a la côte de boeuf incroyable et que dire de la nouveauté du boeuf braisé c'était tout simplement incroyable!!!! Je suis contente parce que nous avions eu une carte cadeau et devions choisir le restaurant nous avons choisie Bâton Rouge et honnêtement même si je n'avais pas eu de carte cadeau je n'aurais même pas été fâché de payer cette facture!! Super belle expérience!! Merci encore!!
