Overall a great place to check out Jazz music in Montreal. When I went with my friends the server seemed stressed out & that energy transferred which made it a confusing time (do we stay or go). I also found it a bit confusing that the only non-alcoholic options were only mocktails as I was hoping for something simple like an ice tea. Not a deal breaker just a good to know.

I would come back here because the music was wonderful.

This jazz bar was amazing - the band was great & lively, the food delicious, service fast, & even if you were sitting in the front few rows like we were, it never felt too loud to take away the intimacy.

Perfect for a date night.

Très bonne ambiance dans ce petit bar jazz de Montréal. L'entrée est à 8 CAD & les consommations sont à un bon prix. Le serveur, seul ce soir là, nous a pourtant accueillis & servis rapidement. Par ailleurs, de très bons musiciens font la musique pendant les soirées spectacles.

Personnel discriminant. Nous sommes venus entre amis pour dîner & participer à la jam session. Malheureusement, nous avons été très déçus par l'attitude du personnel encadrant la jam : peu accueillant, peu respectueux & surtout discriminant envers mon amie chanteuse. Ce type de comportement est totalement inacceptable dans un lieu qui se veut ouvert à tous & dédié au partage de la musique. Une expérience très décevante qui ne donne pas envie de revenir.

$14 to watch jazz music for 90 minutes. Pretty empty. Nice ambiance but the owner look & sounded overworked.

I eventually stopped coming here after one of the musicians (it was a latin band), came up to me while I was sitting at the bar, looked at me very closely, about 2 inches from my face, said something in Spanish in a very sarcastic tone & started laughing. I'm assuming it's some type of misogynistic strategy to make me feel'not so confident'. It was very hard to relax & enjoy myself in a place like this. A lot of judgment. Another set of musicians were standing outside on a different night, looked me up & down, & started laughing. This is embarrassing. I would not recommend women coming here.
