Have been here multiple times & love it every time! The service is always wonderful & of course, the food is great. I go for the moules & frites every time (the portion is massive) & you cannot leave without trying the pain perdu for dessert.
WOW. Cant believe i waited so long to go. I went for a birthday celebration so we were a big group, our waiter Jonathan was the sweetest. Tellement patient & à l'ecoute.

This place is very nice & the service was good, however the Risotto was very disappointing, it was missing flavor & was very flat. The beef tartare was great & also the Onglet with fries. We also ordered the snow crab legs , it was fine but nothing crazy. *Note for the Restaurant: Your card machine has the minimum option for Tips set at 18% (That's not legal) please be respectful of your costumers, the service is great, people will most likely give you 18% without pushing it.*
This place has seriously gone downhill. We stood by the entrance for ten minutes, completely ignored by passing staff. Not even a quick'good evening, someone will be with you.'
When we were finally seated, the waiter didn't bother offering to take our coats - just pointed across the room & said,'you can hang your coats over there.'
From there, things only got worse: food took 1.5 hours to arrive, & when it finally did, it wasn't worth the wait.
Usually I dont go to places like these but I took a chance & was impresses. I liked this place immediately. The ambiance was nice & the best part was the food. So yummy!
La semaine passée, je suis allé souper chez Leméac pis j'ai vraiment été très impressionné. L'ambiance est super chic, mais en même temps relax on se sent pas coincé. Surtout si t'aimes la cuisine française, c'est vraiment une place pour toi. Le service était très professionnel, le personnel était attentionné pis poli. Les plats sont arrivés à temps, j'ai eu aucun problème. Les prix sont un peu élevés, mais ça vaut clairement la peine pour la qualité. C'est un excellent choix pour une soirée spéciale. Je pense y retourner.

We've been a few times over the years & it's always been consistent. The atmosphere is lively, the service is professional, & the overall experience is smooth from start to finish.
The food is good & well executed, with a menu that sticks to timeless French brasserie classics. Nothing overly surprising, but you know what you're getting, & it's done properly.
It's a dependable spot that has clearly stood the test of time.
This is my favourite restaurant in Montreal. The service is always phenomenal & the food never misses. I highly recommend the mussels , duck confit & the escargot's. 10/10 every time !
L'ambiance de bistro français classique m'a vraiment plu. Dès que tu entres, tu ressens une atmosphère chaleureuse & conviviale. Les plats étaient aussi très savoureux, & tout semblait préparé avec soin. L'endroit est un peu animé, mais ça ajoute une belle énergie. J'ai passé une très belle soirée. C'est définitivement une place à découvrir à Montréal. J'y retournerais sans hésiter.
Lemeac is simply one of the best restaurants in Montreal. I've been going for over 20 years, & it has never changed; everything remains perfectly consistent, food, service, ambiance. Which is very rare. Amazing! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Carla :)
