Visited Tula recently while coming from Toronto, & it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant is a small & cozy place, & at first we were a bit hesitant because of the size, but once the food arrived we were truly impressed.

The dishes were fresh, flavorful, & beautifully prepared. It's amazing how they recreate classic Indian flavors in a completely vegan way. The curries & biryani were especially delicious & felt light yet very satisfying. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, & the service was friendly & attentive.

I visited with my colleagues & we all loved the food. If you're looking for authentic plant-based Indian cuisine in Montreal, this place is definitely worth visiting. Highly recommende

What a lovely vegan restaurant to discover! The attention to detail was evident. From the spiritual decor & meditative music, to the details of the cocktails & the food. The meal was not only delicious, it was put together with care & it was very pretty. The restaurant offers vegan Indian cuisine. I am definitely recommending this to everyone, & I am coming back soon 🙏🏻

If you're looking for exceptional vegan & gluten-free dining in Canada, TULA in Montreal is an absolute must-visit. Every time I'm in Montreal, I make it a point to dine here.

What makes TULA truly special is its focus on plant-based, gluten-free cuisine with little to no oil, creating meals that are not only delicious but incredibly healthy & balanced. The menu beautifully blends Indian & Pan-Asian flavours, offering dishes that feel nourishing, vibrant, & thoughtfully prepared. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or simply looking for wholesome food, this place delivers in every way.

The owner is incredibly charming & knowledgeable, & took the time to walk us through the menu, explaining ingredients & helping us choose dishes that suited our preferences. That personal touch made the experience even more memorable.

The ambience is calm, zen, & beautifully designed, making it the perfect place to relax & enjoy a mindful meal. It's also very family-friendly with plenty of parking, which is a big plus.

Their wine list, beers, & refreshing cocktails are fantastic & pair wonderfully with the food.

Overall, TULA offers some of the best vegan, gluten-free, plant-based food not just in Montreal, but arguably in all of Canada. If you appreciate clean, nourishing cuisine with amazing flavour, this restaurant deserves a spot at the top of your list.

Highly recommended - easily one of the best plant-based restaurants in North America.

It's rare for me to give five stars, but this place is a total hidden gem. I'm not a food snob, but I have a sensitive palate & I keep my expectations realistic for the setting-& this spot truly impressed me.

Our host, Abi, was wonderful-so kind, sociable, & attentive. As for the food, the menu is fully vegan with a beautiful, subtle approach to Indian flavors; nothing is'in your face,' allowing you to taste every fresh aspect of the meal. We went for brunch & left perfectly full.

What sets them apart:

House-made Staples: They make their own coconut yogurt & tofu, which is a massive plus.

Quality Ingredients: You can taste the freshness of the local produce.

The Matcha: It was so high-quality it didn't even need sugar.

Excellent quality for the price, & the interior is just as lovely as the service. I'll definitely be back!

Would you like me to help you post this to a specific platform, or should we tweak the description of the flavors?//C'est rare que je donne cinq étoiles, mais cet endroit est un véritable petit bijou caché.

The Best lndian food in not just Montreal but also in Canada. The owner is extremely kind & his vision of Indian food is unparalleled. The salads here are just mind blowing. The soups are light & delicious. The curries are finger licking good. They have Ayurvedic beverages in their menu & paired with their delicious food, you feel like crying with tears of joy. Tofu Koliwada is to die for. Their vegan butter chicken is yummy & a must try. Their Plant based Chicken as well as Jackfruit Biryani are exceptionally good. Food is 6/5, the place is spotless clean & the service is commendable. The Elaneer Payasam was the icing on the cake. We had to wait as we did not have a reservation. Their Brunch Platter ( our second visit) was extremely good. I have no words to express how good. Can't wait to try more stuff on the menu. This is the best Indian restaurant in Montreal. Infact it's the healthiest Indian food serving restaurant in North America for sure. You feel good after eating here!

The food at TULA is bold. It's not the same old generic westernized idea of Indian food. It's not predominantly north Indian food like your naan & ten thousand varieties of paneer that all taste the same. It's a mix of familiar & new flavours that are unlike anything you'll experience from any other Indian restaurant in town.

Despite the food portions being hearty, the food is very light & clean. The flavours are subtle & complex & nothing on the dish overpowers anything else allowing all the ingredients to shine in their own way. The restaurant is vegan friendly but trust me, you'll not be missing dairy or non vegetarian food because the food is simply that good.

The service was excellent with Abhi taking the time to explain not only the menu but the story behind it. The conversation is engaging, the food service is timely & it feels comfortable like a dinner at a friend's place.

Overall, you should definitely give this place a visit if you really wish to experience the diversity that Indian cuisine has to offer without breaking the bank. I know I will keep coming back.

The food, ambiance, & the people behind it were amazing! I took my vegetarian friends there who were visiting from the States & they can't stop gushing about what a gem this place turned out to be! The waitress Rania was beyond personable & an amazing singer who sang some classic Bollywood songs during our visit & we were amazed by the talent! The interiors were curated particularly around yoga & Indian culture, both of which were highly appreciated by my visiting friends.

Definitely worth a visit, especially if you've vegetarian/vegan food preferences!

Love this restaurant. It doesn't use the same menu as almost every other Indian restaurant. It is creative & authentic (& order anything that is'grandmother's recipe.). I love going here, for supper, lunch or brunch. Just delicious.

Absolutely love this place. Will keep coming back. This restaurant really brings the regional nuances in Indian cuisine, to the wider public. Very few restaurants even in India are near this level.

Main course: jackfruit biryani & sweet potato noodles were the highlights

For desserts: don't miss the gulkand panacotta.

P.S: Abhishek is great with customers. You'll certainly remember your conversation with him
