Every bite burst with loads of flavour & was noticeably lighter than standard Indian fare. Our table of four was a split of vegans & omnivores, & everyone enjoyed the meal equally. The Goan curry was so delicious, & (as a long time vegan), I've never had a tikka masala, & it was wonderful. That & the dal palak was so rich! Service was great - Abishek is a delightful person & has certainly created something very special in Montreal.
Best vegan Indian food I've ever had. It's tasty, fulfilling & healthy.
Excellent option for vegans looking for Indian flavours. Spice level was very moderate which we loved. The host is very friendly & engaging.
Tula excels at satisfying cravings for traditional Indian dishes, each with a unique twist. Abhishek, the warm & welcoming host, ensures we understand each item & makes us feel right at home. I highly recommend the Koshambri & Grandma's Special Curry.
One of the best Indian restaurants in the city - & just so happens to be vegetarian. Homey food, beautiful presentation, & great service. A must-visit for brunch, lunch or dinner!
I recently visited this restaurant with my office colleagues, & it brought back fond memories of my days in Mumbai with its authentic Indian Thali & incredible variety of dishes. Abhishek, our host, was exceptional & provided detailed explanations of the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking delicious Indian vegan food.
Beautiful, healthy, nutritious, & vibrant plant-based food with lots of flavor! This is my new favorite restaurant in Montreal. The food is so good, it made me want to move here just to be closer. The vibes? Immaculate. Definitely recommend! So, picture this: I've been road-tripping from New York, & after four days, I desperately needed some good & comforting food. We always go for Indian cuisine, but this place? Totally next-level. Owner Mr. Abbe is a gem. We rolled in late, practically when they were about to flip the'Closed' sign, but he welcomed us with open arms the man even tweaked an ingredient just for us. Talk about VIP treatment! The food was on point-clean, flavorful, & super satisfying. None of that post-meal regret either; we left with very happy stomachs. If you're in Montreal, do yourself a favor & eat here. Seriously, your taste buds will thank you & this indian food will be next level for you to compare all other indian food against it.
This restaurant had by far the best vegan Indian food I've ever had. Not only did it have so many options from all regions of India but the owner Abhishek was incredible my friendly & kind. He spent so much time talking to & explaining the menu to each table. We truly loved our experience here & would reccomend this restaurant to everyone!
I want to preface this by stating that I am a rare steak kind of girl. I am in no way vegan. I was going out with friends, two of which were vegan, but I love good food, & adore Indian cuisine so I was totally down to try this place. Did not regret it. It was our first time there, & the owner came over to our table & explained the entire menu to us, detailing every kind of dish (the Biryani is great, try it). The cocktails were delish & so many of the items were made in house. It was honestly amazing. These people have such a passion for their food, I did not miss the meat & would not hesitate to go back. This is honestly a gem of a place. Give it a try you will not regret it. Thank you for the lovely experience. I would post pictures but we were too busy eating.
Tula is without a doubt my favorite restaurant in Montreal. I was in town for three months, & after my first time eating here, Tula became a weekly stop. It's not just the best vegan food I have ever eaten, but the best Indian food as well. Grandma's curry, the biryani, & any one of the three exceptionally creative desserts are especially worth tasting. The variety of flavors & the uniqueness of the dishes even make this a great place to take a non-vegan. The atmosphere is very pleasant & calming, & the service is outstanding: special shout-out to Abhi & Alina for their warm hospitality during my repeated visits. This is a must-stop destination for anyone coming to Montreal, & well worth going out of your way to experience.
