Review Summary

Overall, Tori Ramen receives praise for rich broths and solid toppings across tonkotsu, shoyu, and miso mazemen, with many noting flavorful, well-balanced soups and appealing presentations. The karaage and pork options get mixed reactions, with some diners enjoying the texture and seasoning while others find the meat under-seasoned or the pork slices leaning toward bacon and the noodles ordinary or not homemade. Several reviews highlight friendly service, a modern food court vibe, and good value, though a few mention higher prices and occasional overly salty bowls. The mazemen, especially the truffle version, is repeatedly singled out as memorable, and many say the ramen ranks among the best in the city. All things considered, Tori Ramen comes across as a reliable, satisfying choice for ramen lovers, with a few caveats about salt, portion size, and consistency.

The shoyu ramen was delicious. My son says the beautiful presentation looks like it was taken straight from an anime.

We ordered the shoyu ramen today with 2 other appetizer, the chicken in the ramen taste old & the cook said its was cook 3 days ago it should still be fresh! 🙄 I was on my way to a movie with my son so didn't want to waste the time to complain. they used to be good but not today!

Tried three ramen-Shoyu, Shio, & Miso-& each one was excellent. The broth was rich, flavorful, & well-balanced, just like an authentic Japanese ramen shop. However, I felt the addition of more cabbage & bean sprouts (moyashi) would enhance both the presentation & authenticity.

The karaage chicken was crispy & tasty, but with only four pieces per plate, I was hoping for a bit more. A slightly larger portion would definitely make it more satisfying.

One small issue was the chopsticks-they were a bit thick at the bottom, making them less comfortable to use. A slightly more tapered design would improve the experience.
The ambience inside the restaurant is great, with comfortable seating in the new mall location. The pricing is slightly on the higher side, but considering the excellent taste, it's still reasonable.

Overall, a great place for ramen lovers in Montreal.......will definitely return.

Saw this place while visiting the food court at Royalmount. Prices were ok. $20 for a bowl of Tonkatsu & $19 for Shoyu. Both were good but the chashu, although tasty, was sliced like bacon & way too thin. Also there were no proper textured ramen chopsticks or spoons. They give you a regular tablespoon which is way too small for a bowl of ramen. Service was friendly efficient. Would go back. Hopefully they will make some of the minor adjustments.

Pretty good, fast service, a somewhat decent portion, not very big though so if you're very hungry, one portion might not suffice. Lots of options but I tried their shoyu ; light, hearty, noodles have good texture & bite to it.
