Took the tonkotsu ramen & it was very tasty, broth was rich but not overly fatty, porc was wonderful. Only negative side is getting a plastic spoon, it should not be a thing.
Best mazemen in Montreal! So tasty, light but super satisfying - totally a must-try!
Amazing best ramen place in montreal
I chose Kara for spicy one. No any other smell in their chashu of my Kara Ramen even I disliked pork meat. It was good! The plating was so neat & looked tasty. The staff was so kind from Tori Ramen & other servers of food court in Royal mount helped enjoying for our mealtime. I'll visit again for sure.
Tried three ramen-Shoyu, Shio, & Miso-& each one was excellent. The broth was rich, flavorful, & well-balanced, just like an authentic Japanese ramen shop. However, I felt the addition of more cabbage & bean sprouts (moyashi) would enhance both the presentation & authenticity.
The karaage chicken was crispy & tasty, but with only four pieces per plate, I was hoping for a bit more. A slightly larger portion would definitely make it more satisfying.
One small issue was the chopsticks-they were a bit thick at the bottom, making them less comfortable to use. A slightly more tapered design would improve the experience.
The ambience inside the restaurant is great, with comfortable seating in the new mall location. The pricing is slightly on the higher side, but considering the excellent taste, it's still reasonable.
Overall, a great place for ramen lovers in Montreal.......will definitely return.
Saw this place while visiting the food court at Royalmount. Prices were ok. $20 for a bowl of Tonkatsu & $19 for Shoyu. Both were good but the chashu, although tasty, was sliced like bacon & way too thin. Also there were no proper textured ramen chopsticks or spoons. They give you a regular tablespoon which is way too small for a bowl of ramen. Service was friendly efficient. Would go back. Hopefully they will make some of the minor adjustments.
Tasty broth, minuscule quantities of pork or chicken, not very much food overall for $20 per. I mean, the whole mall is kind of absurd, I can't imagine it lasting very long.
The prices are what you'd expect for a ramen restaurant. I found the broth flavours not very rich, it was pretty bland in my opinion compared to many other ramen restaurants I've tried, & I've had many tonkotsu ramens. The chashu, however, was tasty.
Good place for ramen. Tasty broth. I took Tonkotsu, found it a bit salty but still enjoy it. Quick service even during lunch hours. Suggest trying their dry ramen without broth I believe called Mazamen, apologies if spelled differently. Prices are pretty fair for the quality of the food
It's a Japanese-style ramen restaurant that recently opened on Royal Mount Mall. Personally, I found the spicy ramen dishes, Kara & Tori Paitan, to be delicious. The okonomiyaki was also tasty. The place is friendly & clean.
