About

Tori Ramen centers its culinary focus on the precise craft of Japanese noodle soups defined by rich, layered broths and artisanal techniques. Each bowl highlights the interplay between springy, alkaline wheat noodles and carefully simmered proteins that showcase deep umami complexity. The menu emphasizes traditional seasoning profiles, featuring marinated soft-boiled eggs, tender bamboo shoots, and crisp nori to complete the architectural build of every serving. The setting utilizes a functional, minimalist design aesthetic that directs total attention toward the steaming bowls of liquid essence presented at the counter. Diners engage with a menu that prioritizes the structural integrity of the broth and the specific texture of the noodles above all peripheral distractions. This establishment serves as a deliberate destination for enthusiasts seeking technical consistency within the ramen craft.

Review Summary

Reviews for Tori Ramen are mixed, with many patrons praising the rich, flavorful broths and beautiful presentation that often mirrors authentic experiences found in Japan. Supporters frequently highlight the delicious kara and tonkotsu options as standout meals within the food court, noting the convenient atmosphere and high quality compared to typical mall dining. Conversely, some diners report inconsistencies in consistency, specifically regarding the texture of the pork, saltiness levels, and the temperature or freshness of certain ingredients. While many consider it a must-try destination, others feel the pricing is high for a food court experience or find the flavor profile to be lacking in depth compared to alternative local options.

Amazing food, the Tori paitan had many rich flavors, & the broth was very good.

Girlfriend is happy

We ordered:
- Ramen Tonkotsu
- Ramen Kara
- Chicken Karaage

Foods arrived pretty fast, Ramen broth was really balanced in a good way, & we killed the Karaage :)

I always order at this place & always order tonkotsu & they're always sooo good. But I noticed recently that the broth tasted different & the pork slices changed like they substituted it with bacon. Its still good but im kind of disappointed.

As someone who just got back from Japan, I have to say this was quite lovely. Took the tonkotsu ramen & it was very tasty, broth was rich but not overly fatty, porc was wonderful. Only negative side is getting a plastic spoon, it should not be a thing.

I tried the Tori Paitan ramen & really enjoyed it! The highlight was the incredible broth, full of rich flavors. Chicken slices were moist & delicious. Though I didn't like the caramelized onion in the soup. Flavor was good but the texture wasn't enjoyable. Soy eggs could also be more marinated & flavorful.

Overall a very satisfying meal! The kind & welcoming service also made the experience even better. Looking forward to trying their other ramen options.

Very honest review. The tonkatso ramen is just OK. Wouldn't order again. Very very plain, noodles are meh, broth is just ok but also nothing to remember. Pork is dry. Just a very meh experience..I just came back from Japan & was excited to try the ramen. 2/5 is being generous.

Really good broth! We tried the sapporo black ramen with takoyaki, & (unpictured) the tonkotsu ramen. Both are very flavorful. The shop is located in a good-looking food court at Royalmount, we will visit again!

I'm into authentic good quality ramen & this wasn't it at all. The tonkotsu broth had a watered down onion/garlic powder taste with none of the complex umami simmered pork flavor. The pork was some tough bacon slices, not the flavorful tender thick pork belly you'd expect. The noodles were also relatively low quality. Even the kikurage didn't have its usual crunch, it felt like maybe it wasn't fresh. Oh, & there is an excessive layer of flavorless fat on top. Good tonkotsu should have flavorful fat emulsified in the broth, not a super thick layer floating on top that's gross.
