2024: friendly efficient service on a Tuesday. Drinks were great, I had the Money Talks & Rice to Meet You which were balanced & strong. Love the cute duck menu but not sure where they're going with the uninspired decor. Music wasn't memorable either. 2019: Great service & decent drinks but was a bit disappointed considering the amazing Christmas pop-up bar was created by the same people. Despite being a speakeasy, it didn't really have any sort of classy loungey vibe like all the others, & felt more like a pub atmosphere.

A dimly lit, super cute speak easy that wasn't easy to find but not impossible! Loved the vibe inside that had quite a bit of seating both at the bar & table. Drink selection was unique & you'll want to have a bit of an adventurous palette.

Entering The Cold Room in Old Montreal, you're greeted by a vibrant & inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an exceptional night. The cocktails are a highlight, each one a testament to the creativity & skill of the talented bartenders. LOVED the vibe & the secretive nature of this place! If you're looking for the duck, you won't see it unless it's dark outside, so look for the button (pictured). I really enjoyed my drink & the ambience, & the service was fairly pleasant, but there was a tiny bit of a weird smell that was a little off-putting. I would definitely recommend & return.
