One of our favorite speakeasies in Montreal. Secret entrance way (press the bell & wait patiently!), friendly servers, creative cocktail menu, & a very'cool' vibe - the perfect mix for a speakeasy!
Each drink is unique in its taste & presentation…it is always fun to try them all or just name your flavor note & the bartender can come up with a surprise.
Ce bar à cocktails est vraiment unique & original, offrant une ambiance hors du commun. Les cocktails sont absolument délicieux & de grande qualité. Cependant, il est important de noter que les prix peuvent être assez élevés, il faut donc s'y préparer.
A unique experience at The Cold Room! As a true speakeasy, finding it was quite a challenge, which adds to its charm. The key is to look for a black door with an emergency exit sign featuring a rubber duck. Ring the bell & wait... it's worth it! The cocktails were well-crafted, but what really impressed me was the extensive selection of whiskeys, especially Canadian ones. The place was spotless, very professional service, & although the prices are on the higher side, the quality makes up for it. Definitely a spot to return to!

A dimly lit, super cute speak easy that wasn't easy to find but not impossible! Loved the vibe inside that had quite a bit of seating both at the bar & table. Drink selection was unique & you'll want to have a bit of an adventurous palette.
Entering The Cold Room in Old Montreal, you're greeted by a vibrant & inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an exceptional night. The cocktails are a highlight, each one a testament to the creativity & skill of the talented bartenders.
