Cute for a fun date night. The staff is phenomenal & we felt 100% taken care of every minute we were there. The food is delicious. My meal was a 4 star (Tagliolini) because as delicious as it was, it was basically just butter & Parmesan with pasta, though still very well done. My boyfriend's dish (Tagliatelle ragu) was incredible, I enjoyed it more than mine. The homemade pasta is so good! We had an entree of homemade focaccia with a prosciutto butter which was uniquely flavorful. Also shout-out to the bartenders who truly know how to make the best drinks. Will definitely be back to try more from the menu.
J'ai vraiment tout aimé! L'endroit est cozy & chaleureux à souhait. On se fait accueillir comme des rois. La musique n'est pas trop forte & elle est vraiment bonne. La nourriture était exceptionnelle. Le service hors pair. Les employés sont super amicale mais professionnelle. La serveuse nous donnait des shooter en bar & ce sont les meilleur que j'ai pris depuis longtemps. Franchement pour moi c'est une note parfaite. Je trouve qu'en général bien qu'il y ait quelques exceptions les restos dans le vieux sont surévalué & plus pour les touriste. Celui ci fait partit des exception. Allez y!
Correction : j'y suis retourné 6 mois plus tard (octobre 2025) J'y retournais pour la burrata & les pâtes à la courges en plus de l'ambiance, par contre le menu à changer, les pâtes à la courge ne sont plus là, la burrata non plus & comme les employés ne sont plus les même le service & l'ambiance & le menu ne m'ont pas plu cette fois. Je n'y retournerai malheureusement pas.
I only have good things to say about this place. It can often be a hit or miss with new Italian restaurants opening in the city since the MTL market is super saturated with them. We had a prior reservation at Dinette Marcella, which failed due to a reservation error on their end. We were able to secure a table at the Chef's bar at Stellina rapidly & without fuss. We were well greeted, & the service was super professional. The ambiance was lively, & our food was well-prepared & delicious. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for high-quality pasta in a more upscale environment. Perfect for dates, groups or even solo dining. Keep up the great work, guys.
We stopped by on our last night for a night cap & dessert. Great atmosphere, friendly bartender, wonderful drink & a delicious tiramisu! Will definitely have dinner there the next time we are in town!
One of my absolute favourites. The food & service are always top. I recommend sitting at the bar & watching the magic happen.
My friend & I visited Stellina on Sunday night with a last minute reservation & the only seats available were at the bar, which offered the perfect view of the open kitchen. Watching the chefs work was a treat in itself. The kitchen was incredibly organized, with each dish prepared with such attention to detail that it was almost like watching a performance. You could see the professionalism in every plate they sent out. We started with the Funghi Saltimbocca antipasto. For our main dishes, we went with two pasta selections: Taglioni & Rigatoni alla Carbonara. The carbonara seemed to be a crowd favorite; we saw it coming out frequently & quickly understood why. Rich, creamy, & delicious, it's a must-try.
I love the concept & ambiance of this place. Sat at the bar, & the drinks were good. However, the food wasn't up to our standard. We disliked half of what we ordered. Despite calling ahead to ask about vegan options, I found there wasn't much choice upon speaking to the chef. I ended up with a mediocre pasta with tomato sauce, which I had to heavily season with hot sauce for flavor. The salad I ordered as an entre (INSALATA) cost $22, which I found ridiculous for the portion & ingredients. My friend had the bone marrow & oxtail pasta called'Angolotti'; he said it was bland, lacked flavor, & the portion was insufficient for the $35 price tag. When our bartender/waitress asked how it was & we expressed dissatisfaction, she simply took the plate away without further inquiry. Another friend had a creamy pasta that he found overly rich, & he informed the waitress. They also ordered the octopus entré ($28) to share, which they both disliked. The waitress kindly removed it from the bill but only compensated one of them with bread & a sauce, & then charged us for this'compensation.' They also shared the mushroom & prosciutto entré (funghi saltimbocca $23), which they found okay. Some of us left hungry. The service was decent, with hardworking waitstaff & an okay waitress/bartender. Overall, I recommend this place for drinks with friends. However, the food was not great & overpriced. I might return to try the actual menu once my vegan diet is over. For now, I'm giving this restaurant 2 stars. I hope this review helps both the business & the customers.
My partner & I came here for our fifth year anniversary & let me tell you. DID NOT DISAPPOINT. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The atmosphere, our server, & the food was all exceptional. Come here if you're looking for a great meal with a cute environment. We are from New York & came to visit here for the weekend & this really set the bar high for other restaurants in Montreal. 12/10 experience.
Nous avions réservés au bar du Chef, une accueil extraordinaire, c'était notre première fois & c'est comme si nous étions des clients réguliers! D'une gentillesse & sympathique qui fait défaut dans plusieurs restaurants presentement! Nourriture excellente, nous avions pris le menu dégustation & n'avons pas été déçu! Belle sélection de vin! Nous reviendrons!!! Merci pour cette belle soirée!
La serveuse au bar était bête, on dirait on la dérangeait , il fallait se lever pour avoir son attention pour commander . Les entrées sont très bonnes mais les pâtes laissent à désirer . Le décor est beau !
Dès notre arrivée, on avait demandé une table dans la salle à manger & non au bar. Le personnel nous a gentiment accommodé. Notre serveur ( malheureusement oublié son nom mais arrivé au Qc depuis septembre de la Californie) nous a offert un service exceptionnel. La nourriture excellente. Vin abordable. Dessert tarte à la pistaches sublime. Que dire du Negroni Rosita WoW. Un 28e anniversaire comblé. Merci à Stellina
Food was excellent, sitting at the bar, it's the worst uncomfortable stools I ever sat on, made me almost not enjoy my food, please change those $2 stools they need to go.
We had the tasting menu & what a great experience! Loved the food & service while sitting at the bar watching the team prepare the food. Will definitely go back the next chance we have.
I recommend to ask to sit by the kitchen bar. It's a dinner & a show in one. The chef's are simply amazing & entertaining. The food is flavourful & portions are decent. We tried the $80 tasting menu & the server picked out some great choices. The ravioli & the pasta with cream sauce & 36 month old aged parmesan is to die for....all the antipasto choices he gave us were incredible. They have such a passion to make you a great meal & bring an authentic atmosphere & recipes to the table. Bravo & I will definitely be going again before I leave Montreal.

The food: very blend & way overpriced. I can’t believe they rip off people like that for small portions with barely anything unique. All plates are over-seasoned with parm cheese. Anyways way too expensive for basic fancy wannabe food.
The only reason why I give it a 3/5 & not s 2/5 -> the tiramisu is honestly the best I’ve ever had.
