Great spot with great service & excellent food. Loved the salmon gravlax, in fact all the appetizers were awesome. Steak was perfectly cooked as well. Overall very pleased.

Je suis allée au Sel Noir ce soir & j'ai passé une superbe soirée! Les drinks étaient délicieux, la nourriture aussi, mais ce qui m'a le plus plu était le service; notre serveur était Gabriel & il nous a fait passer une soirée mémorable: ses recommandations, son professionnalisme & son charisme m'ont permis de vivre une expérience unique, j'y retournerai certainement en espérant ravoir le même serveur!
Ma première fois au sel noir ce soir. J'ai adoré mon expérience. Très bon menu & service. Notre serveur Gabriel nous a très bien conseillé & nous avons passé une excellente soirée. Nous allons revenir très prochainement. Merci à Gabriel pour cette belle soirée!
Ce restaurant est vraiment une belle découverte. Tout était parfait. Notre serveur Gabriel très gentil , le propriétaire Xavier nous a accueillis chaleureusement. & finalement notre repas était exquis. Je vous le recommande à 100% ... Encore merci pour le shooter & pour votre chaleureux accueil ☺️

Amazing service, quick & high quality meat. The tohomohawk is 10/10 you should try it if you have the chance. Only thing i can say about this place,it was the best way to start the new year! & i will 100% be back Forgot to mention... 5 stars to desmond & his staff.. thank you!

This place is perfect for date nights, a very nice & classy atmosphere , waitstaff is friendly & funny. Food is amazing! Me & my boyfriend's favourite steak house so far! The potato dish is to die for! Purple haze drink is very yummy. Honestly can't get over the romantic feel of restaurant over all.
This place has good food, interesting selection of wines & drinks but some aspects could definitely be improved. 1. The food as mentioned was good, the steak was slightly overcooked but acceptable, all sides & all sauces were tasty but everything is at an additional price so the bill can increase rapidly. Personally I think that the price for the sides were reasonable but for the sauces I found it a bit overpriced. 2. Service was average, they asked during our reservation if we were celebrating anything special which we were (anniversary) but it was not acknowledged or mentioned whatsoever. The waitress was knowledgeable but seemed to be annoyed & rushed, they never asked how was the food or followed up with any recommendations at all. The food came out quick which was nice. 3. Price-quality was ok but nothing exceptional & the atmosphere is nice.
Just want to take the time to shout out Sel Noir! Exceptional service from the owners all the way down! My company was in town for an event at the Centre Bell-- We had an important order for the big boss that had to be filled. Usually they don't do takeout but I explained to him our situation & the manager on duty helped me with the takeout! We winded up ordering two nights in a row. Where the service went above & beyond is when we misplaced the receipt..& we needed it for our records... I had both the Manager & owner (Sahil) reach out to me the day of my issue. He was patient & worked through my concern-- & he was able to find it from A WEEK AGO & send it to me via text for me to submit to my company.. (we are from the states, given why it was a bit complicated) all this to say THANK YOU THANK YOU.. even a week layer after everything was all said & done you guys went above & beyond. If ever we're back, we will be sure to return!!
