Satu Lagi est une adresse indonésienne malaisienne à Montréal très appréciée pour ses saveurs audacieuses et son approche qui reste fidèle à l’authenticité tout en offrant une certaine créativité. Le menu propose une grande variété de plats sans gluten et certains végétariens, et des plats comme le rendang, le nasi lemak et les satay reviennent souvent en tête pour leur équilibre de saveurs, leur cuisson et leur présentation. The food is amazing I cant even explain at what point everything was DELICIOUS. The service with Matteo is IMPECCABLE, also with the waiter that served us the drinks I forgot his name but hes from France.

Great place for an elevated dinner! Entire menu was gluten free & dairy free. We liked the beef stew & fried duck the most. Serving staff was friendly & quick.
The food was good don't get me wrong, but the spices were just not there for indo food. The only dish that got it right was the fried mushrooms. If they seasoned everything like they seasoned the mushrooms it would be a 5 star. Instead, everything just sort of tasted like oil. The curry was not spicy at all & the rice had way too much coconut milk (both yellow & white). The waiters were very good.
Wonderful discovery. Lots of choices to share & try the different dishes. Many mocktail choices & the cocktails are extremely inventive. Patio in summer is lovely. Might be tough to get a table in the winter. All gluten free.
Food here was great, super flavourful & the cocktails were really nice. Don’t skip out on the satay!! Nice spot for a date or dinner with friends.
My only critic is related to the service. I like sitting at the bar when the kitchen is right behind it to be closer to the action, but the cooks seemed really bored & didnt hide it lol. Big yawns, sometimes on their phone while waiting at the fryer. One guy fully took off his cap & shook out his hair. I totally get having off days, but it just dimmed the experience a little. I’d still go back!

Il faut savoir que le menu midi est très restreint & que tout est sujet a disponibilité des stocks.
Ça m'a néanmoins donné le goût d'y retourner pour essayer le menu complet.
This has become one of my favourite restaurants in the city. If you need to eat gluten-free it's an absolute panacea because you can eat anything on the menu. I had forgotten what that feels like, usually being limited to 1-2 dishes in other restaurants. Regardless of whether you need to eat gluten-free or not, it is an absolute gem of a place. Each dish I have tried has been absolutely delicious & I want to keep coming back for more & try everything on the menu. The service is also excellent, friendly & helpful. A dairy-free creme brule is also a nice treat (made with coconut cream) if you have any space left after the amazing meal.

I have been to this restaurant & did have a lovely experience the first time but my second visit left a lot to be desired. The food & ambience was good & all but the service was an absolute downer.
It’s just basic etiquette to inform your customers when the kitchen closes but for some reason we were politely pushed out :/ Also, if you are a vegetarian your options are pretty limited.
We were a group of five & the waitress said that as it’s a tapas style place, it takes ~ 5 dishes per 2, we went on & ordered almost the whole menu. Everything ranged from good to amazing & unbelievable. Good cocktails both alcoholic & alcohol free.
