Afficher toutsushi(101) fresh(31) quality(26) chef(25) fish(25) nigiri(22) sashimi(22) dessert(19) maki(17) bar(16) platter(16) lunch(15)Service was slow. One of the staff knocked a drink onto my husband's lap. She did not apologize grabbed the glass & walked away. She also did not inform the server of the issue. I had to mention it to him. When we got the bills he was charged for his full meal. Despite the fact that he had to sit through dinner being uncomfortable since his shirt & pants were both wet & sticky. We once again mentioned issue to our server. He said it wasn't aware of the entire situation. He went behind the bar to talk her, but it honestly appeared like she was indicating that it his fault. Our server told us that there wasn't anything he could do about the bill. He said we could talk to management but didn't bother to bring anyone out. He told us to send in the dry cleaning bill. The lack of accountability is baffling. I've never had such a horrible dining experience.
Had an amazing diner with my daughter yesterday. Was seated at the sushi bar & had the chance to chat with Antonio. Best quality fish in Montreal if you ask me. Bluefin Toro omg 😋
Thank you Antonio for the extra touch, truly appreciated
We finally had the fantastic opportunity to have lunch at Park! We sat at the sushi bar & it was fascinating to watch the concentration & attention to detail they put into every step of preparing & serving such delicious & beautiful dishes. We ordered the sushi platter for two, along with cocktails & dessert, & everything was fresh & exquisite. Despite the orchestration, everyone was friendly, smiling & chatting with us a little. Chef Antonio, Chef Shinji, & the rest of the staff treated us so well that we almost stayed for dinner service-Literally!
We sat at the sushi bar. We were lucky enough to be there while they were preparing a bluefin tuna & had some belly. & a pair of nigiris of toro we ordered. Delightful.
One word: EXCEPTIONAL
What an experience I just had, watching Chef Park & his team put together such exquisite sushi creations out of top-notch ingredients. It was an experience like no other. Don't be intimidated to sit at that sushi bar, that's where the magic happens!- I absolutely can't wait to go back!
Park is an absolute MUST-TRY. Amongst the great dining options in Montreal, Park is a stand out for the Japanese/Korean cuisine. The restaurant is decorated in a modern & upscale manner. Simple wood finishes & lovely marble cuts accentuate the open kitchen & sushi bar.
The food is unbelievable. We started with the wagyu sando & the first bite was out of this world. Topped with caviar & gold flakes, the minced wagyu had the perfect texture & you wanted to immortalize that bite in time. We split the regular & the premium sushi platters. Both are fantastic. The premium comes with caviar, uni & toro. Both platters come with a medley of sauces - the house soya sauce, a ponzu sauce, chimichurri & a carrot-based sauce. The fish is so fresh; we were exclaiming over each & every bite. Just an unbelievable platter of seafood. To top it off, we finished with the tout chocolate. The chocolate mousse is so light but the dish is bigger than it looks in photos. We practically had to roll out of the restaurant.
Also, shoutout to the host. He was top notch. Jovial, informative, had jokes to keep it light. Great banter.
Park is for the memory books. We'll be coming back to Montreal just to go another time.
I always sit at the bar for a true omakase experience. But they make the whole plate & serve it. They do not serve each piece individually
I only order the omakasa at the bar & havr the sushi & sashimi ( non cooked food) It can get very busy so I try tk make reservations & book for 6 pm. It can be a long night if you dont go early. Photo is O Toro nigiri ordered a la carte
